You gotta read the directions more carefully.  Your FXZ directory isn't named properly and you extracted the support file really screwy.

invalid sp data, status 0x0035, boot failure. it all flashed okay but for em storage. after i renamed the fxz file and fixed the fastboot and rsd files. tried it with 2 different copies of the main file

Known issue.  Remove the emstorage flash line from the script.  The last bionic FXZ is f'd up.  It's not needed anyway.

unzipped another file the, ota update, and added it to the mix in the fxz folder and this time it went to the android with the spinnin belly, and went ahead and booted up. still didnt flash the em storage , not sure what thats gonna cause to be wonky.

I think i've encountered a problem. I'm almost 100% positive i followed your directions to a T. It seems like the flash went ok, but the phone has been sitting at the droid eye for a while now. I've run a logcat and I keep seeing something about signature mismatch.

That's a bootloop and seems as though your data partition could be corrupt.  You may have to boot into recovery and FDR it.  Hopefully you have a recent backup of your data.  If not, well, that sucks.  But an FDR should hopefully fix it.

Thank you yeah i had done a backup of the important before i started. I ran the util a couple more times, this time doing a full data wipe and it worked.

House of Moto News:

 

I have some big changes coming in the near future.  One is a near term possibly even today change, and one is longer term that will take me some time to implement.  The more immediate change is that I'll be rewriting the HoM to make it slightly easier to use and more compatible with the different FXZ's out there.  The end result, however, is that when version 2.0 is released, it will *NOT* upgrade a 1.4 install.  It *MUST* be installed clean, including all the support files.  The reason for this is fastboot mode is currently highly broken for those on newer Moto devices.  The fix is to use the included fastboot files from the FXZ.  However, older phones like the HD and M and all the OMAP phones don't have a fastboot binary added to their FXZ.  So the support file is going to add one for those phones.  The location of the scripts is also going to change.  Which means the order of installation will go like this:

 

o) Download HoM, extract to C:\HouseOfMoto

o) Download xtXXX support file, extract to C:\HouseOfMoto

 

Here's where it'll be different.  The FXZ_xtXXX folder will be created for you when you extract the support file.  There will already be files in that folder...that's where the scripts will now live.  So the next step will be:

 

o) Extract your FXZ to the FXZ_xtXXX folder that's been created for you.

 

The mode selection will become very simple...rsd or fastboot. Each FXZ will now contain the proper files for your phone automatically.  Version 2.1 will make some more changes but I won't do them in version 2.0 as I want to get the structure built before adding new functionality. 

 

Short version of this is when 2.0 is released, a COMPLETE reinstallation will be REQUIRED.  

 

The longer term change will be apparent when I create a new thread for it.  It's a new project I'll be working on, but, it requires more than just simple batch/sh scripting.  It's an actual application I'm going to attempt to develop that'll be written in Java.  The purpose of this application will remain a mystery for now, but, when I get into prototype stages and need alpha testers you'll see a new thread pop up here in the House Of Moto forum.  I already have the design laid out and the actual under the covers code I could do in a couple hours.  It's the UI I'm more concerned with as I've not written one in quite some time.  It'll likely be a windows only application in the short term, but, the power it'll provide when it's done will be enormous.

I'll need it tested on every phone.  When you see what I have in mind you're going to freak out.  I just need to develop a UI for it.  I haven't done UI code in a long time so this may take a bit of time.  Plus I'm not setup for java development on my laptop at the moment.  Guess I need to grab Eclipse.

House Of Moto 2.0 released

I don't have a phone to test it with, so, you guys will have to beta test it and make sure it works.  It....might.  

 

YOU WILL NEED TO COMPLETELY REINSTALL.

 

No new functionality.  Bug fixes galore.  Each phone has its own fastboot files.  Bionic has the emstorage bug fixed (I removed it from flashing).  Scripts have been moved to the FXZ directory.  Those on xt1080 and xt1030 phones, make sure you extract the directories in your FXZ (Windows, Darwin, Linux in particular) when extracting your FXZ else fastboot mode will throw errors and not work for you.

 

Since this is a pretty big rewrite, I would appreciate feedback on what's working and what's not.
