so honestly, i am reaping the benefits of messing with crap in radiocomm i have no business messing with. I develop two problems when i fxz this bionic via this tool. (it fails using straight red lite) My internal memory comes back errored and I have to wipe even though I use the option of full fxz erase data. For whatever reason, while wi-fi works, i cannot connect to a hotspot on another phone. i can with my other bionic and I could before I poked around in radiocomm to make it a straight talk tester phone (which worked fine with the exception of 3g and connecting to wifi hotspot on my dd ics bionic..I put everything back, or so I thought. At any rate, is there a way to flash the radio (not an alternate, but just the proper stock radio via mac/recovery/or even safestrap? i want to say the tool for win7 has a radio option and I tried to use it unsuccessfully (boot loader probably prevents the whole concept, so don't be too harsh, i realize it is unlikely.) . Mac only gives me fxz. In theory, though, fxz should be the proper radio image unless something I changed trying to get 3g to work on ST att didn't revert. t am at a loss for what could be awry. However, I take full responsibility for my phone being weird, yet functional 98% otherwise. My stupid self is the only one to blame. I was just curious as to whether or not there was something I was missing. Maybe I will try stock recovery and the update (for ics to jb) after formatting internal storage again. Probably redundant though, i am pretty sure it will flash. Constructive ideas?

The FXZ contains the radios. As long as it flashed properly, then it will have put the stock radios back. I have no idea what radiocomm touches and whether it's in an area that the FXZ overwrites or not. I've never messed with it and have zero knowledge of what it changes.

I never did get the linux side working. I was using the chmod method. Next time, I'll have to try kit's suggestion. I did break out the wife's old XP laptop, and that worked. Thank you Samuri for the hard work, that you've put into the program. Thank you to all the dev's, mod's, and people, who put there time and effort, into helping people, and bringing choice to others!

Hi SamuriHL - thanks for the great tool and detailed instructions. I thought I followed them to the letter, but clearly must doing something stupid. My device (Maxx) is being found, but when I run the bat file, I get error "The system cannot find the specified file".
So I thought I'd run CreateLOG (to save you from having to ask me), it is showing me the contents of my entire C:\ directory, even though I clearly extracted it into C:\HouseOfMoto. Not sure if that is somehow related to issue above.
I have attached a screenshot of my HouseOfMoto and FXZ_xt1080 directories in case that helps.
Greatly appreciate any assistance!

It's not finding the scripts in the rsd_scripts and/or fastboot_scripts directories. Nor is it finding your FXZ. I'd delete it and start over. Cause something ain't right.

Tried from another computer, still can't get TWRP on my phone.
On the new computer:
1. i installed the moto driver
2. i installed the universal adb driver
3. plugged in phone while it was in normal mode, to make sure everything connected & installed.
Then I ran the house of moto custom "TWRP" you made for me, saw the window pop up as before, rebooted, still stock recovery
Then I ran the house of moto root with recovery install, it said it installed, but my phone gave me the dead droid on the screen when HoM was waiting for me to go into side mode.
Then I just straight up tried "fastboot flash recovery [imgname]" and while that also said sending & writing... I am still on stock recovery.
I think I just need a new phone lol

Ah yeah, the other night when we were trying different things, I also tried the exact TWRP file I had installed before, to no avail. I just tried that file again, from the different computer, still stock

See Kaos' response. After you flash it, you must shut the phone off WITHOUT it booting and boot directly into Recovery. I forgot completely about this issue.
