I have a XT1080. I was stuck in bootloop but thanks to Samuri and Jcase I have been able to unroot, upgrade to the new OTA and reroot again. My problem is I used Root Toolbox to change my Font and it is stuck on something that is almost unreadable. I have tried about everything over the last 12 hrs to overwrite the FONT that replaced DroidSans.ttf and Roboto-Regular but when I reboot the phone all of it goes back to the horrible script. My question is, are there new FXZ files since the new OTA because the old ones dont work for me now that I have installed the new OTA and rerooted?

If you don't see them on the FXZ site listed in the OP, then no.

Is anyone having issues setting this up on Mac/OS X? i think i have everything right, but something is off. I keep getting this:

SamuriHL's House of Moto [xt875] 1.4
FXZ:

Choose option:

1) *xt875.sh
2) Change Phone Model
3) Exit
#? 1
#?

it looks like the script is not in the right place. I have Xcode installed and had a hard time figuring out why it wouldn't open using terminal.
Forgive my Mac newbie-ness. It would just be ideal to be able to use my macbook for development/hacking/rooting bc I always have it at work. thank you in advance peeps.

EDIT: FIXED BELOW!!!

I don't have a mac so I can't test it there. It certainly looks like your Mac and the script aren't getting along. I'm using standard bash commands. For some reason your Mac isn't taking them.

61.1KB   35 downloadsSo I looked on the FXZ page and there are Updates listed on there. Do you know if this one is the one that Verizon used for all the MOTO xt.... versions?

Would seem that's not the right FXZ.  What version are you currently on?

WOA WOA WOA WOA WOA.  You just flashed a Moto X FXZ to your maxx????  I assumed you had a Moto X since you highlighted the Moto X FXZ.  That's really really ungood.

Well nothing Flashed...... The only thing I have ever gotten to Flash would be obake-maxx_verizon-user-4.2.2-12.9.0Q2.X-160-OBK_TA-14-7-7-release-keys-CFC.xml

Then I updated to the new OTA. After that, I rooted using ADB and JCASE's new method

Ok.  The new FXZ for the Maxx and Mini aren't out yet.  We're still waiting for them to be posted.  Be very careful to flash ONLY the right thing.  Cause if you don't it can brick your phone in a way that I can't help you fix.  You're in a waiting pattern til the new FXZ is released.  And there's a LOT of people waiting for it.  Some are bricked and can't use their phone til it comes out.  Not sure why it's taking longer than most.

Trust me, it could be worse.  One guy deleted their entire system partition.  It doesn't, uh, like that so much.   LOL

My buddy Skrilax_CZ just chimed in on a thread on XDA about the Maxx.  He's got one, as well, and is also waiting for the new FXZ.  LOL!  He's promised to post it as soon as they're released.

Reading in here it just proves what Sam says to do: read, read, and then read it again! Make ABSOLUTELY certain that you are using the CORRECT FXZ file.

Of course, it doesn't help that Googlerola likes to release SO many different versions of their phones (RAZR, Droid RAZR, Droid RAZR MAXX, Droid RAZR HD, Droid RAZR MAXX HD, Droid RAZR m, Droid RAZR i, Droid MAXX). I mean, come on! ;) It's no WONDER people get confused.

so here's an update. i didn't chmod. for noobs, here is what will happen (after you manually choose terminal to open EACH file if you have Xcode installed like my dumb ace did.)

cmc7941-MacBook-Pro:Desktop cmc7941$ cd /users/cmc7941/HouseofMoto
cmc7941-MacBook-Pro:HouseofMoto cmc7941$ sudo chmod +x HouseofMoto.sh
(you will be prompted for your password here. In bold are my keystrokes, the rest is what will be returned to you in Terminal)
cmc7941-MacBook-Pro:HouseofMoto cmc7941$ sudo ./HouseofMoto.sh

Enter phone model (e.g. xt926):
xt875

SamuriHL's House of Moto [xt875] 1.4
FXZ: FXZ_xt875

Choose option:

1) FULL_xt875.sh       3) Change Phone Model
2) KEEP-DATA_xt875.sh  4) Exit
