Shouldn't have to do that.  That's what I'm saying.  Something seems wrong but I'm not sure what.

Totally understand what your saying.  Just looking to see if it would be a temp work around.  Which thus far it's not. :(

I'll keep play with it,  just my way of helping.. :)

I must be doing something wrong, this isn't installing TWRP either.

Something freaky is going on.  Write an RSD script to flash twrp and flash it that way.

Give me a minute.  I'll put something together.  What's your twrp image file's name?

Copy your twrp image file into your FXZ_xt926 folder in the HouseOfMoto.

Then, copy this and paste it into a HouseOfMoto\rsd_scripts\TWRP_xt926.xml file:

After, run the House Of Moto and select the TWRP script.

Not sure what you mean by "select the TWRP script"

You didn't do it right.  I said, create a file called TWRP_xt926.xml in the C:\HouseOfMoto\rsd_scripts directory and copy the contents above into that file.

I ninja edited on you, it was because I had snapdragon selected previously, when I changed that to the first option, it gave me the proper list.

I'm starting to think maybe it is my usb driver?

When I select the TWRP script,

I get this window:

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

my phone instantly reboots into normal mode

then after a second or two, the bat file reports:

Please ensure your phone is:

o] Charged
o] Connected to USB using your OEM cable
o] USB drivers are installed
o] Booted to AP Fastboot mode: [power off, hold volume down and press power]

Ready to flash...
Press any key to continue . . .

Flashing: TWRP_xt926.xml
        1 file(s) copied.
Press any key to continue . . .

Did you try booting into recovery after it flashed?

Well I've noticed this.  Everytime I run the script, it delete's the file, if you move it to the appropriate folder.  That's strange.  It stay's in the utility folder though.

Yup, dead droid. I know I've installed from one of the two usb ports (I've tried both) on the front of my PC, will try re installing the usb drivers now.

That's what the script does by design.  It copies the proper binary there when it needs it and cleans it up when it's done.

Yea, make sure you're using the OEM cable that came with the phone.  It matters.  But I'm definitely suspecting your machine.  Never use the front USB ports when flashing.  And make sure it's NOT USB 3.

Yeah, using the OEM cable. The front ports are usb2 and what I used to get TWRP on there the first time (in September). I just tried a rear port, same result.

I guess the next step is to try a different computer :p

Starting to wonder, I re-read threw the topic, and noticed you built this in Ubuntu 13.04.  Wonder if that's the problem, as I'm runnning 12.04 LTS.

Shouldn't make any difference.  It's possible I suppose but I ran the HoB under 12 and it worked fine.
