I also have a Dev. I was wondering if there are any words whether Stock Images would be released (available from Sammy's website) or if they will ever be obtained. The Moto devices always had SBF files leaked and could be used as a safety net. I currently have a rooted S4 with a custom recovery. Was hoping these files were available somewhere in case I ever wanted to return to full stock (System, Recovery, etc).
I saw these two threads and wasn't sure if the images available would help us or hurt us.

Yeah, I thought that they would be for Stock, non Dev editions.
I see you are looking for a stock boot image. After powering up my phone I flashed a custom recovery via Odin and then installed the SuperSu zip via recovery. I made a nandroid backup before making any modifications. I noticed that I do have a back up of the boot.img along with cache, data, recovery and system tars. Would my nandroid backup of the boot.img help you out?
Too bad Sammy doesn't make the stock images available. There has to be another way to pull the images....if we found someone with a brand new Dev device, could they issue the dd block command via adb to pull stock images?

I have a few questions - no sure if you have any answers:
So, my Galaxy S4 Dev has Philz's Touch Recovery on it and in October Samsung is planning an update for the S4, S3 and Note 2 to Android 4.3.
1. Does that Update to 4.3 include Developer edition users or is it just for regular devices?
2. For us Developer Edition guys will Vzw push it to us OTA or will it come from another source (maybe another way - i.e. download)?
3. With a custom recovery, do you think it will cause the update to fail or will the update not even touch the recovery partition?
4. When will we get stock images?! :-) <----joke
Just a few points to ponder. I am new to the Developer Device scene, so please excuse any "silly" questions.
(From my understanding GPE devices will receive updates directly from Google)
