Flash in safestrap recovery no wipe. This can also be use on the original leak using bootstrap. Enjoy!!!

Is this an ikream theme for .211 already? Such a bad rear end!

" I took the liberty of disabling "Qe" which logs all of the differences in the current OS compared to how it comes from Motorola. It's a lag monster on the bootup, and an invasion of privacy."

Anyway we can do this on the current leak, without having to use safestrap and your ROM?
I love it when a plan comes together...

To each their own, ill stick to bootstrap for now.

I have used both....coming from the DX I was accustomed to using BS. So I have used both of them on my Razr when I could fast boot back but now on 211 thats not an option. So how would I go about removing SS if I need to?

Agreed about the battery life. SS is of fresh stock flash. As far as init-d... there is. Ill post it tonight. I'm running it now.

OK...so let me get this straight. I'm in the process of going to ICS from GB---so a little clarity is MUCH appreciated. So far, I've installed the moto drivers/used the batman-esque motorola tool 1.6 to get to .181 gingerbread---then I rooted the phone AND installed rootkeeper from the tool.

NOW, I've already tried installing this .211 ICS leak on the safe side...but I just got a black screen.

My question is...if I simply put the .79 ICS leak on the safe side---do all the wipes---then install .79---I should be good to try the .211 leak OVER the .79 leak...correct?

I do understand what Safestrap DOES...but I just want to know the best route to go so I'm not wasting a bunch of time just trying to get ICS loaded

Again, currently I'm on the .181 GB, rooted and rootkeeper is done---now just need to know the quickest/safest way to go to ICS

Thanks to whoever can clarify!!! :)

Oh yes and I am AWARE that I can just do an AP fastboot/RSD to the .79 version---and I've used RSDlite in the past :)...again thanks in advance!

Im thinking you have to have an ICS kernel on your non-safe side. Such as .75/.79. Then you would be able to flash the 211 on the safeside. Since youre on 181 you are on a GB kernel which is the reason youre getting the black screen when you attempt to boot.

Thanks! Any other clarification would be helpful, but thus far I'm thinking I'll just SBF to the .79 leak (I really have no reason to go back to Gingerbread unless you guys think I should keep it), then install safestrap, root ICS, install rootkeeper---THEN hit up the 211 build on the "SAFE SIDE"...

Thanks man, you're getting a "like" for that

Once you go to 211 you cant go back as of right now. With the method thats being used to jump from leak to leak we should be able to get to the official once it drops. What i would try in your position is to goto one of the leaks that you can fastboot back to GB. Then flash the 211 for safestrap on your safeside. That way you would have an ICS leak that you can definitely fastboot back from on your nonsafe and one of the newest leaks on youre safe side. I can vouch for it workong due to the faxt that i have 209 on my nonsafe and 211 for my safe

Hey guys,
I've got 211 running in Safe mode via SS from .79 and I noticed one thing with this ROM, there doesn't seem to be a way to force it to 3G only mode.
the choices are:

Global
LTE/CDMS
GSM/UMTS

or am I missing something?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
