I can't boot into safestrap, right after I hit the menu button the screen just goes black and I eventually have to hard reset... Is this because I'm on the AXI0M CMPLX? Thanks!

Make sure your are not plugged into the charger when you boot into safestrap.

Is Axiom Cmplx a GB based ROM? Or do you need the ICS leak for it?

You are probably going to want to be on the .79 leak on your main system, then whatever you want ICS related on the safe side. When you decide 79 and 211 are basically the same, get nova launcher to change things up. Then when you are bored and want to go to the next build of (let's say) Eclipse, you can go back though Matts tool, which you would not be able to do if you were on bootstrap, rather than safestrap. That is the beauty of safestrap. You are protectected from locking out of 181,which I'm sure a few people will like better than any of the ICS roms.

Once you install anything higher than .79, you cut down the possible roms you can play with. It's like someone took your ball and went home. With safestrap, you get to keep both balls.

On any 173/181 builds, I prefer bootstrap. It just depends what I intend to run. I haven't found a launcher that will restore my homepage for GB like nova does for ICS, though. So it's a bit of a pain to reload everything and strategically stack things around my wallpaper, but formatting everything only takes about 25 minutes to fix. Besides, I have other things to do while it does rather than stare at a blank screen.

i didn't know this. when i had my gnexus he was making roms for that. i hope someone can make us a debloated/deodexed stock rom soon. i tried to do it myself but it seems pretty over my head.

Yeah it's ICS based, I just don't remember if I'm on .75 or .79, but that shouldn't be an issue.

i didn't know this. when i had my gnexus he was making roms for that. i hope someone can make us a debloated/deodexed stock rom soon. i tried to do it myself but it seems pretty over my head.

He builds for multiple devices. Eclipse on 211 would be mega sweet.

Then again the guys cranking out ROMs on drzr may come up with something better.

Do you have any prior experience with SafeStrap?

What this is is a duplicate copy of 211 for the SafeStrap. You keep a virgin copy of 211 on the UnSafe side and put this on the SafeSide. That way you can make changes to this. And keep the original in case you mess this one up.

not to argue but why should we ditch it? on droidhive ive heard member's say safestrap causes nothing but issues. again if bootstrap is that bad i don't understand why it was even made in the first place. it all comes down to personal preference.

Install it, make a backup of your current nonsafe system, switch to safeside, install roms

Need to install an OTA? Simple... Switch back to nonsafe side, restore your backup, uninstall safestrap, install OTA.
