does ics have a screen shot method already incorporated in it already or are we still going to have download crappy screenshot apps and shake the damn thing? btw, what screenshot apps are you guys using? if ics doesn't have this in there already its kinda wack that they can't even put this basic simple feature in there.

Press power and volume down at the same time and hold for a second. Screen will flash and save a screen shot. That's the native screenshot feature.

New guy here yo,

Is there a way to this on a non rooted device without a computer on GB .181? Trying to update our store's Razr unit and don't have a computer ready for this, the stock recovery doesn't see the update as even the default name and update.zip at the root of the sd card.

where can i find the instructions on how to make one of these motorola factory cables? i dont wanna pay $30 bucks for a freakin cable...

edit: nm googled it. looks a little more complicated than just cut and splice. damn i wish monoprice would sell these for a buck or two lol

Ebay has them for $9.00, which isn't too bad but programming is all they're good for. You can't charge your battery or do regular USB data transfer, just programming.

common sense tells you that you are already on the ota. you might have gotten a notice that a software upgrade will be available for the razr but you already on the ota and since you are not on 181 you wouldnt get the upgrade. use some common sense

So just to be clear one cannot flash this over .210 or .209? Fastbooting to .181 then flash boot.img with unstuck utility and finally flash the zip?

Yes, you have to do the steps you mentioned to get on .211

You NEED to be on .181 to get the ota, so the only option you have, being on 210 right now, is to use matt's droid razr utility, to fastboot back to .181, then use the unstuck utility for 211, flash the boot211.img via fastboot (with the unstuck tool), and then put the 211 update zip (thats posted in this thread) on your SD card, and apply that from sd card/external storage. The OTA update will ONLY be recognized on a device running .181, NO other build

Thanks. Too much work, I will just stay on .210
