I am on build 210. When the OTA is released, can I just factory reset my phone and install it? Or should I just stay on the 210 build?
You NEED to be on .181 to get the ota, so the only option you have, being on 210 right now, is to use matt's droid razr utility, to fastboot back to .181, then use the unstuck utility for 211, flash the boot211.img via fastboot (with the unstuck tool), and then put the 211 update zip (thats posted in this thread) on your SD card, and apply that from sd card/external storage. The OTA update will ONLY be recognized on a device running .181, NO other build

Might wanna put the .211.zip on sd/ext before fastbooting to .181!! Lol

so im hearing the OTA is imminent and that the .211 build were running is it? will the OTA be posted here anyways so we can flash the final build in case of any minor changes?
From everything I've read about leaks and OTA's. .211 leak to .211 official OTA should be identical? If there were any changes for the OTA it wouldn't be .211? .212 .213? Lol

E: Error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip
(status 7)
installation aborted
I was on 6.12.181 rooted, then used the utility to fastboot back to 6.12.181 stock, then used the motorola recovery wipe data and to install the ota 6.16.211, but I keep getting the error above. Now my phone won't charge, won't boot, and I can't AP Fastboot because it says the battery is too low. Anyone got any ideas?
I wanted to add that I tried flashing the .211 boot image as well before attempting to flash and that produced the same result.

That seems a little long... mine was less than 10 minutesI went ahead, downloaded & flashed through stock recovery, and it is taking almost a hour so far. Hopefully it didn't mess up..

When I had this error it was because I was rooted. I just did the file explorer method.

Did you use the Unstuck Tool to flash the 211 kernel BEFORE flashing the 211 update file?
