I am on build 210. When the OTA is released, can I just factory reset my phone and install it? Or should I just stay on the 210 build?

You NEED to be on .181 to get the ota, so the only option you have, being on 210 right now, is to use matt's droid razr utility, to fastboot back to .181, then use the unstuck utility for 211, flash the boot211.img via fastboot (with the unstuck tool), and then put the 211 update zip (thats posted in this thread) on your SD card, and apply that from sd card/external storage. The OTA update will ONLY be recognized on a device running .181, NO other build

You will need to use the utility and flash back to. 181 then flash up to. 211 to be back on track. If it is like any other update. Make sure you have a good charge.. follow the instructions on the first post.

OK. I know I'll probably get flamed, because version 6.16.211 is version 6.16.211, but I'm anal about these things. When someone here gets the official OTA is there any chance you could check the md5 vs. the leaked. 211? I just want to make sure they are identical.

From everything I've read about leaks and OTA's. .211 leak to .211 official OTA should be identical? If there were any changes for the OTA it wouldn't be .211? .212 .213? Lol

Will fastboot files for 6.16.211 be made available or is that never guaranteed?

I keep getting this error

E: Error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip
(status 7)
installation aborted

I was on 6.12.181 rooted, then used the utility to fastboot back to 6.12.181 stock, then used the motorola recovery wipe data and to install the ota 6.16.211, but I keep getting the error above. Now my phone won't charge, won't boot, and I can't AP Fastboot because it says the battery is too low. Anyone got any ideas?

I wanted to add that I tried flashing the .211 boot image as well before attempting to flash and that produced the same result.

I went ahead, downloaded & flashed through stock recovery, and it is taking almost a hour so far. Hopefully it didn't mess up..

When I had this error it was because I was rooted. I just did the file explorer method.

Did you use the Unstuck Tool to flash the 211 kernel BEFORE flashing the 211 update file?
