Step 1. Dl 211
Step 2. Fastboot 181.
Step 3. Fastboot the 11 kernel using Unstuck 211
Step 4. Boot into recovery.
Step 5. Flash 211 from external sd card
Step 6. Boot up and enable usb debugging
Step 7. Boot into ap fastboot mode
Step 8 flash 85 kernel using Unstuck 211
Step 9 boot using bp tools
Step 10 use ics root using Matts utility 1.6
Step 11 flash 211 kernel using Unstuck 211

Step 12 profit

Ive tried this about 6 times now following these instructions. I came from .79. Fastboot back to 181, fastboot the 211 kernel with unstuck, boot moto recovery, then flash 211 update from ext.sd, and every time it aborts with the same error "/tmp/sideload/package/zip (status 0). Then I get to start all over at step 1.

WTF am i doing wrong. Ive redownloaded files several times and checked md5 against each other theyre the same so shouldn't be a bad download. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is the first time i've ever had a problem flashing anything. So I'm very frustrated.

Only change from 210 is in the setup guide. It added a gmail picture to the email configuration step suggesting that you set up gmail later. This explains the 200kb difference in file size from 210

between steps 2&3 are you waiting for Andy to INSTALL the 181? also after flashing 211 kernel but BEFORE flashing update wipe data through recovery

Yes and yes. But one question. Do i need to let 181 boot all the way up after andy install then reboot to recovery? Or catch it before bootup and go to recovery? Or does it matter? Ive been letting it boot up then shut down then to recovery.

181 will not boot... Andy will install files and it will reboot ant stay on M then force reboot into recovery

I've been getting a few FC's on .211 on a numder of apps TapaTalk, My Cast Weather, and a few others can't remember at the moment. Seems to be random though.

Dont force it, it takes a while on the reboot after andy finish. Then flash the 211 unstuck and boot to recovery. Wipe data then install zip

When I wrote that it was in response to someone else asking for help.. I thought 181 would NOT boot after fastbooting it... wonder if this is somehow responsible for roms acting up with my SD card... I always force rebooted after 181 fastboot then installed new kernel.. hmm...

My stock 211 runs perfect.. ROMS will not diplay pics from my Ext SD card and Camera will NOT work... tried everything man... still looking for help on this matter... nothing has worked.. gonna try going back to 209 base tonight..

I have fastbooted 181 in between every try. This Is retarded. Think i got a bad download of matts utility?

Not sure u are getting a good preinstall flash does it error there when running restore 181 option?

Have to be fully extracted utility that is.. and yes there are corrupted copies out there
