Thanks bud! I was getting worried you guys were losing interest in this. You got data at startup OK? Only reason ask is I had a guy that said he couldn't get data at the setup screen. I couldn't make sense of it because nothing that would affect it has been modded. Moving forward I just want to be sure. If you wouldn't mind running this a few days and posting opinions/suggestions. Thanks again!

During setup I am on WIFi, data here for me is sketchy, so I would not be a good tester for that.  I flashed it last night load up TB and restore.Yes this is my main driver so far so good. Thanks

A few days out. No problems have popped up. Battery is good. that's with my boys playing games & video on my phone.same for my wife's. She has the theme . What could be next? Maybe add phone info to tweak signal for those in bad spots?

Yea...I could toss in a phone info app. Actually been thinking of adding it to all my ROMs anyway lol. I also plan on getting an accurate battery mod in the status bar for you guys too

After a day and a half, all is good. It was the weekend lost of podcast and audio books. I just started getting delayed response to swiping and opening apps, I don't know if it is because I was messing around with no frills CPU and the sleeper app or because I got to much crap installed. I am just doing a re-install after messing with cpu stuff, like I mentioned I have this unbearable slow down/lag. I don't know if it is CPU stuff or just something I install so I'm starting from scratch.

Flashed the zip via CWRecovery (latest) and it just sits on the RAGE logo boot screen.. doesn't boot up.. does nothing?   Why is there no instructions on how to flash?  My phone is unlocked, not safestrapped..  Went to bootloader and it says UNLOCK so I know it's really unlocked.

 

Edit: Going to try after mounting system first..    Even though CWR said it completed with no problems.

 

Edit2: Yep, its working now, must mount system partition before flashing!

What is it about stock roms on the Razr M that it runs like complete junk..  It just stalls and hangs doing the most mundane things like opening the keyboard or browser..   So weird.   For being the same hardware as the Galaxy S3, they run completely different from each other.

Well all I can say is this is the BETA version of a ROM that is being built blindly (no device). I'm sure with further testing and feedback it will improve significantly. So please realize normal expectations of performance are somewhat unrealistic. Your willingness to test is appreciated. Try to explain issues as accurately and as detailed as you can. Thanks.

I'm not talking about this ROM.   I'm talking about all stock based ROMs and even the pure stock rom..  It just hangs in weird places - it must be hardware issue or software related but I would have thought Motorola would have fixed it by now.   This ROM is great by itself.

i've had ZERO issues with stock-based ROMs such as the "Clean ROM" on XDA.  my lone concern with this ROM that Badazz has so kindly put together for us is that it does NOT recognize my sdcard (same deal with the one that Matt posted on droid-hive).  but for whatever reason, I'm the only one experiencing this issue, so it must be related to my setup (maybe my sdcard).

I never get any force closes, hanging, etc on stock-based ROMs.  in fact, the only time i ever had any trouble on 4.2.2 ROMs, I was able to resolve it by disably HW overlay in the developer options settings.
