Is there a Mac version? Running 4.0.4 6.16.211

Having a mac myself, I decided it was worth it for me to install win-blows with bootcamp. There are some utilities for mac, but the most updated are for windows. I can verify that the utilities all work in Windows 8 Release Preview (as if I'd pay for windows) LOL!

i am having no luck with rooting... i came from stock .181 to .211 and every time i go to root... it says device not found... i have changed it to the camera and the mtp thing as well.... any help?

I had to update my Moto Drivers ( to MotorolaDeviceManager_2.2.17) before the root would work and recognize my phone.

After that and rebooting my computer....worked like a champ!

When i try to run TiBakup, it tells me that my ROM is rooted but the "su" binary has non-optimal root access. Any ideas why?

I rerooted using Matts 1.7 utility and have no more issues...

Worked great! Unrooted with the new ics OTA this am. Ran this and I'm all rooted up! Thank you!!!

I have tried everything to root this phone. I dl the ota update. Forgot to do the ota root keeper. I have been trying to root this razor for the past 3 hours. I downloaded the ics 1.7 utility tool. The root ics zip file. I cant get the phone to root. Device not found is what I get with the zip file...any ideas. I have it in mtp mode, and debugging enabled. ??

Sounds like a drivers issue to me. Re-install the drivers from the 1.7 tool or try a different USB port or PC.
Have you tried the Razr's Edge root?

Having a hard time rooting...keeps saying it failed in the black box.

System Version: 6.16.2110XT912
Android Version: 4.0.4
Kernel Version: 3.0.8-g29f5e7

Any ideas?

I could not root the ota using matts utility alone.. i had to downgrade to the 4.03 kernel (.85 leak) root and upgrade to .211 kernel again.. worked perfect and now im enjoying eclipse ICS 1.1!
