Very nice. Thanks for the heads up.

BadAzz can you add info to the OP that says this is compatible with Safestrap and locked bootloaders?? We have gotten that question a ton lately and you may get quite a few more downloads once we can point people in this direction.

This is a stupid question but I'll ask it anyway. I am unlocked on cm10.2. Can I install safestrap and install this on a safe the side without affecting my twrp recovery

As an update, the "arrgghh" OC kernel is working great on this rom.  Its been a day and nothing negative has happened thus far.  No freezing, lag, overheating.....Battery life I will determine after today and report back.  Good job on this ROM its running great!!!!!

If your unlocked why would you want to install safe strap? It will not affect twrp no matter what you do. If your thinking you can have more ROMs because of safe this is true but from my experience the stock slot is the only one that runs good and at that point why not just make a backup and and flash like normal.

You know this ROM is running so good for me know once I got rid of Chrome. How much faster is the kernel this puppy is pretty fast the way it is. I just hope it stays this way. I have had this phone since ICS been on almost every ROM out there this may not be the pertiest game in town but is running the best. If it keeps running good no need to change. I have had so many ROMs start out like gang busters then lag out after a few days.

Its a little faster in a lot of aspects even though it runs great with the included kernel. Games load faster. One thing I like about this kernel is that it has a slight over clock of the GPU which is much desirable to me. I have noticed less sluggishness in full 3d games. I have it pushed to the max at 1.89Ghz and under clocked to 96mhz at rest. I use the smartassv2 governor with the deadline I/O scheduler

Couple things of wonderment:

-In99flames:  Where can we download this "arrgghh" kernel?  I'm not familiar with it.

-Wooddale:  Is there a way to delete Chrome from the rom, or are you just hiding it from within the drawer?

Thanks for the tips!

Really liking the ROM buddy!  It's the smoothest experience I've had yet on a stock-based firmware.  I usually flash aarrrrggghh kernels with anything stock, but I really don't feel the need to with the included kernel set on performance as the governor.  As a side note to those using the arrggghhhhh  kernel, it does support gpu ocing, which provides the most benefit as far as user experience, but it never sticks upon a reboot.  That being said, if you use fauxclock or trickster mod, you can set the gpu governor to performance, which helps out tremendously.  Changing the gpu governor survives a reboot, just not ocing.Though, it tends to make my device warmer than I'm comfortable with.  In any event, amazing ROM, I'm looking forward to following this for a good while :D

SetCPU has profiles that start at boot, se the Screen On profile and it will keep the OC settings ;)

The built in No Frills CPU controls found in the settings menu also stick and survive a reboot. However, it does not give access to GPU settings

I actually have built a Modded Version for use with Safe Strap. It is uploading to server as we speak. Volunteer testers please PM for a link. The sooner I get some feedback, The sooner it can go public! Thanks Guys and Gals!!

Then what is the issue with flashing them from the ROM if they're the same?  Sorry if I'm slow to follow.

Because the partitions where these reside are locked out by the locked Bootloader.

If you want rid of Chrome, Just freeze it with titanium backup or a like app. Ive frozen it for the last couple days for testing and have noticed no adverse effects

here's a link to the aaarrrrgggghhhh kernel for anyone who didn't know about it.  Make sure you-re using the one for 4.1.2 and not any of the cm ones.
