Well, 3 downloads and a dozen attempts later I must throw in the towel and try flashing something else. Guess my phone doesn't like this.

Wipe EVERYTHING including internal SD. You probably have something hanging around from another rom thats messin you up. You have given very little info, therefore I am having a hard time helping with your problem. Wipe it good, MOUNT SYSTEM, and install. it will boot.

Is it OK to install this ROM using Safestrap 3.12?
Thanks.

How was a benchmark score of 6218 achieved? The best I got was 5500 something using Rom Toolbox pro....
If you have a list of tweaks I would appreciate your settings posted :-)

Any word of a version for SafeStrap on a rooted phone with a locked bootloader?

I didn't give much info because there isn't much else to try. After 2 failed attempts I used RsD to get back to stock, and had to do that again after I couldn't get into recovery. Not an issue, I flash everything I can find and occasionally something like this happens - I'll keep my eyes open and try again in a few days. Meanwhile I'll try a few other ROMs :-)Wipe EVERYTHING including internal SD. You probably have something hanging around from another rom thats messin you up. it works on safe strap but you gotta be on 9.20.1The MotoCast app creates a private cloud that lets you stream music, photos, and videos from your computer to your smartphone .

Got it installed on a locked bootloader using SafeStrap. I was running Rage v1.2 before coming to this one. This version 2.0 is REALLY nice! I love all the new features and it is MUCH smoother and snappier than v1.2 was. Thank you very much BDAZZG1 and the rest of the Rage team!

please do tell how you did it. I've been trying to recruit testers. Did you have to modify the updater script or did it just install? This ROM contains parts designed to flash to partitions unavailable with a locked BL.Got it installed on a locked bootloader using SafeStrap. I was running Rage v1.2 before coming to this one. I saw in settings that "verify zip ... " was checked- after I unchecked it it is now installing zips. Sorry for all the trouble- I think that was the whole problem. Not sure why that was checked- I dont recall ever changing a sertting in there.
So the rom appears to have installed. really appreciate you hangin with me thru it.
So it's you belief that the earlier kernel is better?
Use CWM, I was not able to install it using TWRP no matter how.
CWM worked first try. Don't forget to mount system.

I didn't do a whole lot. I have a locked bootoader (due to 9.18.79 OTA) but was able to obtain root using SamuriHL's script to go back to 9.16.6, obtain root. I then used
to use RSD to apply the Radio Updater to my stock ROM (this was after I was already running Rage v1.2).Then, I installed Rage 2.0 on slot 3 of SafeStrap with a 2GB partition and flashed the latest gapps at the same time (Aug. 14 version). When I rebooted the system, everything worked fine. No hiccups or lag or anything. By far the smoothest ROM I've run so far since I've been rooted (compared to Eclipse, Rage v1.2, Nexesque, and stock rooted).

Awesome! Will a dirty flash suffice when the update is released? I just installed this last night and got everything where I want it haha. I assume a dalvik and cache wipe will be ok?
