yeah a bit I'm gonna try cross broader see if it makes a difference. Since this is 4.1.2 pretty much what it is I think everything works though.

You want to flash the stock kernel. He has customized stock kernel. that might be the cause of little lag. It worked for me

Great, thanks! This really helped my situation out. It's a lot less laggy. Gonna let it settle and will post if lag reappears.

I am on 4.1.1 , can I flash this rom- I am unlocked bootloader and rooted. Using twrp recovery.

So what ever happen with stock kernel? Its doesn't seem real laggy here but $#!+ can happen

If you are unlocked and rooted you can flash anything

My Kernel is 3.0.31 -g59a8475SMP Preempt - is that ok as well with this rom?

So is the 4.1.2 boot image avail with this rom or do I get it elsewhere?

This rom flashes kernel and radio. Try rom as is and if you encounter lag, flash an older kernel

I did all the wipes it ask for it he front of the thread- When I go to install is says "E Zip verification failed" I'm installing from the external sd card.

He said to mount system did you.Mine flashed first time. If you got that boot image flash it won't hurt

I see the option in recovery  "mount", by default  Data, Cache and Micro SDcard are checked,  so do I just check system also?
