uninstalling adaway does nothing unless you replace the stock hosts file. I used to use waze on my Bionic. Thought it was something cool (my wife and I) but it seemed unfinished and unpolished. Always one bug or another. I'll look into it for you though.

After you uninstalled ad away did you wipe cache and dalvik in recovery? If not try that.

Forget it, found the cause of this issue. Read on other forums that apps requesting Accessibility have been known to crash Waze. I've been using Dynamic Notifications, requests Accessibility. Confirmed it by turning AdAway back on & having no crashes. Odd issue.

Was hoping someone could provide a detailed review on battery life vs. other v4.1 roms.

My bootloader is locked and i am on 9.16.6. Do I need to take the OTA update to 9.20.1 in order to flash this ROM?

DO NOT take the OTA!! I strongly recommend that you unlock that bootloader while you still can!! If you are dead set on staying locked you can flash the SS version of this ROM and it should work fine:D

Chrome. It feels kinda bloated but familiar.

Thank you for the advice. I like the ability to switch back and forth with SS too much to switch.

you can unlock and still use SS. But if you somehow accidentally take the update you will be forever screwed out of being able to unlock. On another note... If you unlock you can run a custom kernel and open up a whole new realm of options including the ability to over clock. I've had my ROM running stable at 1.9 GHz! And it flies!

Hey guys,

Just wondering if somebody could upload the cool purple stock rage boot animation from the previous version of the rom? Not a fan of the new one (the custom moto logos cool though)

No disrespect to the developer. Your work is much appreciated. I love the ROM. But, like a few others, I am experiencing some major lag. I installed the kernel from the original Rage ROM and it seemed to help for a bit but the lag returned.

A few days ago (after using 2.3 for a while) I experienced some crazy lag issues myself.  I'm still not sure what caused it to creep up, but what helped my situation is I reflashed the rom (along with the aarrggh kernel) and it's been doing well.  I can't say it's snappy fast all the time, but it's a great improvement after the reflash.  Maybe give it a try, if you haven't.  Good luck.

With the lag issues just a suggestion.. A lot of the time I find its an app that's running, just force close apps that are running in background to figure out who the culprit is, I find Facebook can be :)

No lag here...never had any ever using rage ...
I suspect some of your are restoring apps through titaniumbackup......restoring data almost always leads to lag and force closes.....tb is the devil and its a bad practice to restore apps and data from another ROM

Guilty as charged. Can you suggest a good app backup software that won't cause lag?

Yes u can restore most apps....just don't do data.... I personally prefer fresh installs when moving from ROM to ROM...but update to update I dirty flash....
Hint
Create an update.zip with your core preferred apps...makes switches easier..peace

It seems that since this ROM install I have not been able to sync my photos. My calendar and contacts and email all sync with no problem and I am syncing everything through google+. Under settings it shows that photos are being synced but  it is more like the photos don't get found to actually upload.

Anybody got any ideas?
