Hi guys, I'm using xt912 JB official in EU, with no problems. Expect hotspot. I've tried to find the right info but I couldn't.

I need to fix verizon hotspot as it asks me to call some us number.

I can root the phone change some strings via sqlite but how can I unroot by saving the strings I've edited in setting database via sqlite edit. ?

If I unroot by putting stock JB rom, the changes I've  made rooted will not be saved?

Thanks for you time.

You can certainly make changes and then unroot..... the changes should stay...:) as long as you don't flash stock back to your phone :) .... are you having fun yet? ... if not, YOU SHOULD BE!!!

Superuser lives in /system/app
Su lives in /system/bin
Busybox lives in /system/xbin

Make sure you delete all 3 before exiting out of your root file explorer or if using adb, before you reboot....
