Been having a lot of freeze ups and reboots with rage rom so I guess I will try this one.

The text bug that happened with rage is super annoying, especially with the phone randomly rebooting. You send an important text it does not go through and you don't realize it for hours, then you find out the contractors didn't show up, your boss didn't know you were going to be out sick etc. I can;t be having that.

Hoping to have better luck with this one.

I hope you do! I do want to point out that I ran ragerom for months as my daily driver. I don't know how much you use the stock side of your phone but I would recommend booting in to stock and removing any apps you don't feel are absolutely necessary. By debloating and cleaning up the stock side you will improve the overall health of your phone. Also after doing so...wipe cache and dalvik (ONLY) in safestrap on the stock slot then just boot back into blood rage. I did this recently and it improved performance on both sides of the phone. :)...hope you enjoy BR!

Hey guys!! I just noticed how annoying the black letters were in Contacts.apk... here is a link to one with white letters... sorry for the trouble...just install this with the package installer after you download it will work fine just make sure unknown sources are allowed in settings>security. :D

**Edit** you will also have to uninstall the existing contacts.apk prior to installing the new one.

You'll need to delete the slot on SS and recreate it. I had the same problem going to 1.1.

I think I will just put a link up for this TiBu on the Team Rage site. I will take it out of the next update. Unless you all want it in. :)

The only problem I have with TiBu is updating on the play store (it won't update). My solution to the FCs was deleting the slot, remake slot, 4 wipes then reinstall ROM.
Thanks for the Contacts fix, I can see them now. :-)

Don't update Tibu. ;) I am gonna pull it anyway and just offer it as an extra. It seems that this "special edition" is not working out for those who already have it installed. That way if you want it you can make that choice. :)

I actually figured out the problem I was having. I kept restoring all apps and data and apparently something didn't agree with TB... possibly because I already purchased the premium edition a while ago. I redid everything then only installed certain apps one by one and didn't have another issue with it!

So.....woke up this morning looked at my phone and noticed some apps were missing. It appears that my phone decided to delete the apps that I moved to my SD card.....anyone heard of this before?

Sounds like you had a hot reboot & your sdcard didn't mount when the os came back up. Did you check menu>system>storage to see if your sdcard is even registering? If it isn't, pop it out & reinsert it & see if it mounts.

It is really hard to see the contacts with the black text and dark background on the contacts screen.

I seem to be having the same problem as i did with rage rom not sending text messages, guess there is not fix for this so I will have to look elsewhere.

Have you tried just rebooting wiping cache and dalvik and booting again? It may or may not work. Also try just using a stock deodexed messaging apk. :)

I changed some stuff on the phone.apk....just got home from a mini vacation with the family. Incoming caller name will be easy to read. instructions are the same as the contacts.apk. as soon as I can I will throw this into the next update but I thought you all would like this in the meantime. :D

So...unannounced to anyone LMT (pie controls) has an internal time out of sorts and will no longer function. I am removing it on the next update anyway. If this is something you use it will be up to you to find an updated version. I don't use it and the point of this ROM is to be as light as possible. :)
