Good question. .. update that zip too.. this is safe way.

The 2.3.0 file should be around 280mb. It is a full rom and not an update to anything. You will need to do a full wipe before loading it.

Before installing Arctic, I performed a NAND backup with my Moto stock rom, then when I tried restoring it on CWM, it fails...

Invalid Md5....
Then when I checked the directory, there are only 2 files on the backup!!

- data.ext3.tar
- system.ext3.tar

Can someone explain this?

so there is no cache.ext3.tar or the nandroid.md5 when you look in the backup folder? If you are missing those then you are probably going to have to flash back using RSD lite if you really want to go back to stock.... Not sure which GSM Razr you have, but most of the fastboot files can be found

ok so I have a question my mobile provider is Claro Puerto Rico and I've been wondering if I could flash this rom into my RAZR?

System version: 651.73.250.XT910.AmericaMovil.en.01

Model number: XT910 (of course)

Build number: 6.5.1_73_SLC-25

I hope I included everything thats needed to know

It should work on your razr, but I dont know for sure. It seems to run on pretty much every version of the gsm razr. Before you try to flash it I would make sure you have CWM on boot installed or safe strap and make a backup so you can get back if it doesn't work.

Yes this will work on the Rogers Razr. I have it installed on mine and it is very smooth and quick.

I just checked XDA and Shady has posted 3.0 on there, he just hasn't updated this OP for awhile.

well got it done all is good except no internet

you may have to go in and manually enter your APN for your carrier....I assume you mean when not connected to wifi

Did you use CWM on boot or safe strap? If you did then you can get back to recovery and flash your backup
