I thought hotspot worked fine.
So, am I the only one with the hotspot problem?
BTW, my DRM HD is locked and sporting SS 3.12.

I had problems with hot spot when I flashed the 30.1 kernel and radio over my Blurry 1.0 im still running, but flashing the aahhrr kernel made it work fine again, peace ouT!
I'll give that a shot.
Edit: O.K... could someone please send me a link to the kernel being I"m currently stuck at work and our servers won't let me do a search for it.
Thanks.

My response to the Hillbilly...
My response would have given me a Nice Trophy Plaque with a Huge Red Bull-Eyes on it for the Aerial Sky Drones to Start Practicing Shooting at...or the Alternative would've been the Admins/Mods Boys finding me a New Relocation Site to participate in for Troublesome Members...

Maybe someone could chime in and verify if the tethered hot spot is actually working for them?

So I had to test it after jumping in earlier. Tethered right now. Working fine.
My wireless hotspot works as well. I Bluetooth tether every day from this. (Workplace doesn't allow unauthorized WIFI.)
I seem to recall having to do the tether hack with SQLite Editor though. That turns off that subscription message you are getting.
Also, How are you flashing a kernel with a locked bootloader?

From XDA:"...if you don't have SQLite you can find the database in the file /data/data/com.motorola.android.providers.settings/databases/settings.db
Open it on any database editor, then go on the section settings and look for the "entitlement_check" field and change its value to zero.
Mine was lines 67 & 68.

Scroll down the Apps list to Settings Storage. There should be 2 of these. You want the one with the Hammer and Wrench icon.
Settings Storage>settings.db>settings>and look for the "entitlement_check" field and change its value to zero. (Select the line, tap the Pencil icon at top and edit, then save.)
Mine were lines 67 & 68, but it varies from phone to phone.
