I have a question, who here has an amazing speed setup?

I tried CM10.1 and fell in love with the speed, but hated the instability.

Just looking to get the fastest tweaks out there for this amazing blur rom, (fyi) -->> I already have CrossBreeder installed.

Just looking to get more, looking for a high speed fix. Please fellow speed junkies help me out haha.

Try the argggh kernel. It allows oc and etc. Can use apps like ROM toolbox to change minfree values and etc.
I used to add a bunch of tweaks to Roms...but it caused all sorts of issues for some. Some people lagged and had reboots while others flew. Some complained of bad battery life...blah blah. So I stopped adding a lot of stuff and kept it simple.

I was trying to get more data connection options since I just unlocked the phone for domestic gsm carriers using the hack from this thread

what is your highest benchmark and in what Rom did you get that result? CM10.1?Blurry?

I haven't measured by benchmark, just mainly how responsive and buttery smooth it runs. With 4.2.2 it's been plenty fast, just trying to get to that level on this Blurry ROM. I installed the arrggghh kernel Mr Blurry recommended, so now I'll let it settle in for a few days. What current setup do you have?

but my phone seems to be running faster/better with lulzactive/sio/OC 1728 MAX (I get faster battery drain at the 1800 OC and the difference in speed is little... and then with SmartAssv2/sio/OC 1728 I get even better battery life but less speed, (superchargerV6 settings make the battery life even better on both governors but its tricky to get the settings to stick) for more reference on governors and io schedulers check this link

Aarrggghh kernel is nice but it drops wifi several times a day (only bug I've found in it though), as noted but myself and others .

Mine only drops it when I go to reg signal then come back and not all the time I think its worth it.

there's a ton of buildprop tweaks I've found beneficial. You can find them with a google search (sorry, I'm in a rush or I'd post a link), or download android tweaker from the market if you wanna do it the simplest way possible. I mainly use the tweaks for better touchscreen response, scrolling and the loopy smoothness tweak. I noticed a definite difference in performance with very minimal battery drain. hope that helps buddy, if I come across anything else-I will surely pass it along!
