I tried flashing this using safestrap and when I tried to reboot it just sat on a black screen and has been sitting on the screen for about 10 minutes. I can do a battery pull and get back into safestrap and recovery but cant get past this black screen is there any ideas or help? My phone is unusable.

Do you have a backup you can restore? Sounds like something went wrong on your flash.

I'm on Dualcore ROM. After following instructions, I see it in the system file but not in the app drawer.

If dualcore has DSP Manager then you need to uninstall that then reboot.

Now that it's deleted, try wiping cache and dalvik, then flash the zip again. Should work after that.

I'm not seeing it still. Do i need to go into the system file and execute the apk?

I do have an app called MusicFX. Could that be the culprit?

Most likely, get rid of that and let me know.

I erased the MUSICFX and reflashed the zip file. The phone got stuck on the boot animation. It does the same thing when I install the Beats app from the market. i guess Dualcore ROM doesn't like this app or something.

I finally got my phone to boot up after flash and beats is still not in the app drawer. But, I noticed that "Music FX" reinstalled itself.

I can't get the app to show. Using stock ICS .211. I read first 6 pages then skipped to last 2 in forum. Didnt see anything that i was doing wrong. No other sound app. Just removed bloat. Im using safestrap. everything flashed fine. Pasted the ro.semx.xloud.... ect file where it needed to be then rebooted. still no DSP app. Tried exc. from zip and nothing happens. Im not sure if the audio is different. Should i hear a differnce without his app installed?

did you accidentally remove/freeze the stock DSP apk. Or is the stock DSP manager enabled? If so make sure everything is unchecked. Here is a link to my beats file. Install, place on external sd , boot into safestrap or stock recovery then flash.

You shouldn't have to add those anywhere. Its just a flash file.

Not that i can tell. I got rid of some motocast services in Titanium. I looked back thru Titanium and don't see anything re: DSP. What's the stock DSP named? I DL'd the zip you posted. Flashed it w/o wiping cache & delvik and after wiping both. Using safestrap 2.0. Says files flashed successfully. Disabled safe system and reboot. Nothing in app drawer. Went in thru root explorer and try and install the apks from the zip but that didn't work as expected. Not sure what else to try.
