I can't get this to install on.215

same problem with me.
After reboot,show droid logo,then stuck on a black screen

not trying to jack ur thread hicks, but for those that r interested...equalizer(smart android apps llc) works great with all music sources.

My experience with EQ and Android found over the years the Power Amp pro has just as good if not better sound as well as customization.. Once more, beats is more of a marketing ploy for Monster Cable company. Put Dre's name on it and sales through the roof. However most that have a deep knowledge of sound engineering or hell a good ear for that matter will surely notice that beats audio is mediocre at best. But then again this is an Android community and not many are really going to care. I just like flashing things to see what sounds best on my device. Beats just doesn't impress me at all...Power Amp gives me more options and much cleaner sound. Clarity and depth and for a phone, that's pretty good.
I am surely not out to dump on the idea. I just think its only fair to inform. Also still, awesome job that we at least get the chance to check it out right? That's cool. I'm sure I've poked around at this before ..not trying to hit every thread with beats audio on it.. Lol I'm a musician over twenty five years. Lol so sound is something I love...thanks all. Not knocking trying it out bro..Just informing .this is a community of sharing right ? Meant no disrespect brother...Like I said it cool you have made it accessible to try so people can inform their own opinions. Replying to myself, I was on iKream 215 and it wouldn't work. Now I'm on just a regular deodexed 215, and it loads and opens. BUT, it doesn't actuall do anything that I can tell. Yes, I have excellent, recently tested hearing. I tried it with Mixzing (yes, truned oof Mixzing's eq), and the stock moto My Music app. In neither case does it change the sound at all.

Am I missing something? Does this only work with certain players?

pm..i only use it with google music.

I got it to work on my maxx (.215) but it took like a half an hour of re-pasting in build prop and wiping/loading the zip.

I still cant get it to work on my wife's maxx (both running arctic)

I have installed this both ways and they are the exact same thing! The only thing I don't like is not having the EQ.

I went into root explorer (system/app) and deleted dsp manager

then, in safestrap cleared cache, dalvik and re-flashed the beats zip...

it was there and worked when I restarted my wifes phone!

im sure the issue is resolved, but i had my dsp manager disabled in app quarantine so beats wasnt showing up. went to see if it was in quarantine and sure enough it was disabled. its working great now...

Now I have a question here...why doesn't beats work with all the sound output and only with certain programs like the stock music player...I use mog mobile music and I'd like to use beats with that but it doesn't make any difference whatsoever..

I tried flashing this using safestrap and when I tried to reboot it just sat on a black screen and has been sitting on the screen for about 10 minutes. I can do a battery pull and get back into safestrap and recovery but cant get past this black screen is there any ideas or help? My phone is unusable.
