I played with this the other day. It saw 3g but it wouldn't bring up the internet. 1x was a no go as well.

the only way i got 1xdata was go gsm only for about 40 sec..to a min and then switch to cdma only and wait..it should switch over to 1xdata.

sounds good with me..right now i am playing around with the framework.jar since we are porting from GSM..hope i get somewhere..i will b on gtalk after lunch

i did a minor build prop edit at the moment, now the other thing i might b missing is the GSM version also adds a default prop as well in the system folder..not sure if that makes a huge difference

What is a default prop. and in build.prop netword mode or whatever it isnt suppose to be 4. It should be set to 10. 4 is 1x in new ril. 6 is 3g (ithink) and 10 is lte/cdma

i had it at 10 but i get com.android.phone.fc, not sure what the default prop is for.

im guessing phone.apk is setup to search for a gsm frequency and changing build.prop messes with it

Just wanted to say i tried the latest 2.7 build and it's awesome. Data though is still 1x. Just wanted to give a heads up and will try it out as a tester from time to time. Thanks for the hard work.

It took me a year to even try miui on my Droid X due to the fact that it resembled my wife's iPhone which I was constantly making fun of, and once I did I was hooked. Now I can't get it on my RAZR. Pllleeaaasssse get this to work, I have been wanting this ever since the day I got it. She still makes fun of me for making my android phone look like hers so I might as well get to enjoy it.

yeah i know i have MIA. I haven't had any success with getting data past 1x...it is being a pain. i have tried rebuild the phone apk to mimic what they have in CM9 but it doesn't help, it made it worse. so at this point been playing around with build prop to give use sim card options. now i think its time to see if RIL hacks can help. it is a stinky process. i have been messing around with the patchrom system to see if i can build it better that way..but i can't get the blur-res.apk sign correctly when the build is finishing up. Another issue that i see is APN's are not setting when you boot the rom or even select them.

I miss MIUI and I think when I get free time I will make a backup and try to fix the Data issue. I am using the Artic right now but I heart MIUI! Does Miui work with Bootmenu by whirleyes?
