Also, it sometimes it doesn't take first shot. Seems to happen often when flashing off of CM10 I've seen.

Did you FDR after running the utility? Some people have experienced a frozen boot that was solved by a FDR after running the fastboot files.

i've been stuck on the Razr M boot logo several times - sometimes it takes awhile (give it a solid 30 minutes).
my suggestion is to try to attempt to enter recovery:
- volume up/down + power, hold all for 10 seconds
- release power button only
- then when recovery screen comes up, choose "recovery" - you'll get a static screen and be stuck there for awhile
- let it sit for a solid 30 minutes
- after 30 minutes, do a "battery pull" by holding power + volume down to force a reboot
Device: Motorola Droid Razr M (XT907)
ROM: OSE KitKat 4.4.2

So I'm in a similar situation and cannot get past the Red circle with the White Motorola M in it...it blinks and alternates between that and the green android robot laying down with the hood up and a red triangle exclamation inside it. Kinda stuck and open to suggestions at this point. Just want to get the phone back to operational again. Wish the wife would have continued to ignore the update option.

Thank you soooo much for taking the time. I followed those clear directions and I now have a working and updated phone once again. My wife will be pleased. Awesome.
