Oh crap, I did not let the script restore when prompted! Everything seems to be working fine, but what does this mean fr my phone?

That you're running with an old kernel. You just need to fastboot flash boot boot_new\boot.img and it'll restore it.

Hell I'm lost now. I asked if I needed to restore my boot IMG when it asked after I rooted my phone. Dude said no, but from the other reply, does that mean I'm running an old kernel ?
If you let the script complete, it restores the proper boot img, you do not need to do it separately which is what I thought you were referring to.
If you stopped it prior to completion, then you too should follow SamuriHL's instruction.

Unfortunately/fortunately, that's not possible. The inherent security of digital signatures is that they can't be reverse engineered to find the private key. If that was possible, stuff like online banking and other things that rely on verifying someone's identity would be easily compromisable. Basically, that public key in the upgrade package works for that exact package, unaltered, and no othersWhen / If Motorola releases another OTA with their signature, is it possible to extract that signature to find a new unlock method?
