Is this the n12 kernel? Do i flash it just like i would a rom?

Yeah, that's the N12 kernel.  Flash in recovery, just like a ROM.  However, many people say you don't need to do any wipes when flashing I kernel.  Personally, I wipe cache/dalvik every time I flash something in recovery.

You can never go wrong wiping cache and dalvik... Necessary or not.

I can tell you one thing will be, making it harder to root and more security. Neither one good news for devs. The beginning was sepolicy in 4.3.

Love the rom and running smoth. I just have one issue. on the navigation bar, the HOME key doesnt seem to work. i hit it but it never goes to home. anythoughts or help would be great.

Yeah, it's done it to me, but only a couple of times since I've had it on the phone, and I've had it loaded since 9 July.

Hi guys.  I'm new to the board and custom ROMs, but thanks for all of the useful information here.

 

 I've been running the latest version of Illusion for the past week and just noticed today that my speakerphone does not work while on a call. I can place a call just fine using the headset earpiece, but when I press the speakerphone button the phone acts erratically and the speakerphone indicator light goes off/on and that sound cuts in and out. 

 

I did a fresh wipe this morning in TWRP but the problem is still occurring.  Below is a screen shot of what I'm running using the Verizon Wireless network.  Any help would be much appreciated.  I really like this ROM and would like to keep it if possible.

Try using Arrgghh's 8/04 kernel or just dirty flash the ROM, so you get the stock kernel.  It might be an issue with the kernel you are using. I'm using Arrghh's 8/04 kernel, and everything works like a charm.  The later kernels didn't get along very nicely with this ROM.
