Either take it to Verizon and pay to send it off to get it fixed (and likely lose all your data) or get a new phone and don't try to root it. Ever.

wowow,
9.18.94=9.30.1=SOL= NO ROOT AT THIS TIME OR POSSIBLY EVER
9.18.79=9.20.1= MotoChopper for Locked Devices for root.
You, wowow CANNOT get root.

Yep he is right, my xt926M was 9.18.94 and had a baseband that ended in 9P and I have tried every Motochopper link and Razr HD utility version 1.21 - 1.34 and it will not root. It keep showing some kind of flash verification error and so then I ran this tool.
Ran it from AP fastboot and it took a min or two to complete and I thought i was getting somewhere. But no after that tool ran It raised my phone up to 9.30.1 and a baseband that ends with 64.17P

Yeah, I flashed the radio from the update and the only place it shows correctly is when I run the Stock ROM.

I have a Maxx HD running 9.18.79. Can someone PM me a link to them?
Posted 02 January 2014 - 01:09 PM
They have been removed because too many people were using them on devices with a different system version.

No, that's not the issue. The FXZ's are gone because of the site issue with the HDD's. All the HD FXZ's are gone.

I found them.....
Just the posted links are broken...since the folder structure changed.
Also Kaos posted them on the build box while sbf was offline:

Yes. Or just use the moto specific version I hacked together:
It simply rips out all the knox crap that moto users don't need to worry about.

<resurrect> Ok, I'm still on 9.18.79, rooted but locked. I want to do a factory reset since it's gotten slow and glitchy. Will it screw anything up if I do that?
