hey gates, nice work, just to clear things up for peeps, this will not break unlock or root, correct, thanks
Correct, this will act like any other rom install and not break anything related to recovery or otherwise. Which is the really nice thing, as I stated, you get all the benefits of the newest release without all the restrictions..

Anyone try the xposed framework on this yet? Someone posted on xda that they installed the framework and xposed tweak box and it doesn't appear to work.
Can someone give it a try and report back?

NVM...got some feedback, some stuff working, some not, pretty much as expected, so until xposed is updated for ME7 it'll be try and see what happens.

Here's one mod for 4-way reboot menu, but it also includes mod to change menu key to app kill rather than search, which I don't like.

I found a 4-way reboot only zip, but can't find it right now.
Found it - in Verizon S4 Android Development forum:

Also found another one that is reboot menu only, in Sprint forum:

Haven't tried these on this ROM, no idea if they will work, so back up first.

Very informative post from Gadget on XDA, thought it would be helpful to share it here:

Nice work on this...
I flashed after a clean wipe and factory reset and everything works as it should.
Couldn't wait to try this.
A couple of things to note:
When trying to add any mods do a backup first, there are a lot of mods that will not work on this rom and will cause a boot loop or other problems.
Exposed framework/nottach is working for me, I'm sure there are some functions that do not work but I have themed my Quick Settings icons and background, Notification dropdown, removed the clock from the status bar and hidden the alarm and smart stay icons. Setting the torch to work using the volume up button when the screen is off also works (very handy)
Be careful with battery mods, the batteries are named differently (32 icons including charging icons) in SystemUI.
The call recording mod breaks the phone, you will have no signal and the phone will force close.
Apps 2 sd works for any apps that support it, in fact I was pleasantly surprised when I installed Trial Xtreme 3 and 60+ meg automatically went to the sdcard
