Attention Followers!!


As of now, there will be no more development coming from me for a little while. All the projects I'm currently involved with are taking too much time away from my family and it's starting to affect that aspect of my life. My family comes first, they always will. It's been a great ride and I can't wait to get everything settled down and start this up again. You guys have been great! I really appreciate all the support I've received here. Just so you guys know, I'm not leaving the site or leaving the RAZR, just taking a break for a while to give my family the time they deserve. I WILL BE BACK.


Take your time good sir! This is a very smart decision. Family is #1! Can't wait to see you back out here kicking tho!

Ok everyone, I've been getting PMs and emails about when i'm going to start development again. So here is my statement on why I haven't started yet.

Here's the deal. I recently found out that I will be getting kicked out of the Army a year early because of the Army downsizing.

You can Google "Army Early Involuntary Separation Program" to see what I'm talking about. Because of the fact that my ETS date (the day I would normally get out of the Army) falls in with the time my unit would be deployed, I am getting kicked out and forced to ETS (get out) early. So instead of deployment with my unit in August, I will be getting kicked out shortly after that. This really sucks because my wife and I have made no plans yet on where we're going to live or anything else. We thought we had a year to plan this all out but as usual, the Army has proved me wrong. This was just the beginning of the story.

Today I have officially tried every single ROM there is for the RAZR and it seems my battery is completely fried. I've only managed to get a maximum of 9 hours out of my battery and that was with almost no usage at all. Verizon doesn't want to help me because they are completely blaming it on ICS so they are saying that even if they send me a new phone, it will not help because it will have ICS on it.

Now lastly. As if my day couldn't get any better. I was supposed to register for Netflix today because we were getting rid of our cable. Well I didn't have enough money to get Netflix (that's right, didn't even have $7.99 in the bank) and as of about 2 hours ago, my internet got shut off. Not sure how many of you know about how good of a signal I get but it's not good. I'm tethering right now to post this, with only 1 bar of 3G. Needless to say, this is horrible.

Bill (Nubia1) was going to trade me his Maxx, for my RAZR + $50. I would also have to pay for shipping for my phone. Problem is, if I didn't even have $7.99 to get Netflix, you can guess how much money I had to do the phone swap with Bill.

So here's the short and sweet:

1. I'm getting ready to be involuntarily kicked out of the Army with no backup plan.

2. My phone only lasts about 6 hours if I use it.

3. Cable and Internet is shut off and I can't afford Netflix.

I really do hate the fact that I have to ask to help but I do.

The last kicker, my bank account is in the negative by almost $500. I had to do this to pay my bills and child support.

Any help I can get, would be greatly appreciated and I would be forever indebted to this site and it's members.

If any proof is needed for any of this, I can definitely provide any proof you need. Bank statements, cell phone bill (which is still over $200 behind), cable and internet bill which is over $300.

I'm not "asking" you guys for money, just saying I need help. If you want to help me out, that's perfectly cool. If not, that is perfectly cool too! I completely understand!

Sometimes life throws you a curve ball. Happened to me in Vegas. Lost both of my jobs and went quickly downhill from there.

I scaled down to the basics: no tv, internet, cell phone, eating out, beer, etc. Still wasn't enough and eventually lost my house after exhausting my savings.

I started over after selling everything i had and drove back to Washington.

Keep your chin up and do what you have to do to survive. Maybe someone here can help you out with employment opportunities.

Wipe data/factory reset, Wipe Cache, Wipe dalvik, Flash ROM, Flash GAPPS, Reboot, PROFIT!

Changelog:
Telephony: d2vzw data fix. This is a hackish fix to the SamsungCDMAQualcommRIL that checks if we're a CDMA phone and then notifies the RIL that the RUIM isn't ready. this apparently triggers the RIL to read the CSIM card and provision data properly.

Camera: Add missing QCOM_HARDWARE #ifdefs

was missing a few QCOM_HARDWARE #ifdefs even though its origin was CAF. So far, 18206 has only had positive effects on certain QCOM devices, and is a noop or breaks things on non-QCOM.

Samsung RIL: add UNSOL_AM implementation * The Samsung RIL will sometimes send up an UNSOL_AM request which is to be handled by the "am" service. (For example when the RIL resets)

There are many other changes but too many to list here. Enjoy!
