So which rom is faster....cm9 or AOKP?
CM9 is faster. AOKP has more customization.

And google now will only work with KoA correct? I'm currently using Arctic rom and I love it, but I'd like to try out google now and see how it is.

Check the Play Store to see if Nova has an update, most likely that's why it isn't working.
Performance Settings force closes because it's disabled, we have a locked bootloader so there's no need for it.
Facebook contact sync was disabled in ICS.
This is an AOSP ROM so it's not going to have Backup Assistant because that app is Blur Dependant.
Can you post a screenshot of your benchmarks?
Nova is fully updated, just checked. Didn't know Facebook sync was disabled, is there another solution to backup contacts that someone could recommend? And as for benchmarks, I ran a few more w/ hotplug governor and got mid-2800's. Guess it would be a bit harsh to call that horrible, but disappointing compared to 3200+ and solid 60FPS I was getting from Matt's arctic.

Can anyone tell me how to install the blur camera on this rom? I have a BlurCamera.apk file from the Simplex ROM, but not sure how to install it (clicking it doesn't work, moving it to System/App doesn't do anything -- do I need to reboot?). Thanks!
Won't work, needs Blur.

is there any way to get the kind of battery display that shows a colored bar across the top of the screen rather than an icon? I had it on an ics ROM that ran on GB kernel (AXI0M AOKP) and I love that style of battery display. Thanks for the help!

You might be able to strip it from that ROM and toss it in yourself?

A colored battery bar that spans the top part of the screen? Have you checked out ChargeBar in the Play Store? Its free and does that.

Thanks for making such an awesome ROM!
*Edit*
Changing the build.prop back to it's original sdk=16 fixes beautiful widgets, but obviously breaks compatibility with everything else (google apps related).
*Edit 2* Very odd. After just doing the above and once again changing it to sdk=15, now beautiful widgets is working. Odd? Oh well, no complaints now!
*Edit 3* Back to doing it again. Ideas?

Will this rom work on Leak version .214?

.211, .214, and .215
How do you get .214 or .215 (obviously assuming they're better than .211? Is there a changelog? I've been searching for a few minutes and have come up empty handed?

.214 is just a new kernel.

I'm going to look into that possibility. Its part of ROM Control in AOKP ROMS. Since I can look into the AOKP Source though, ill get an idea of whether or not its something I can strip out.
