see this is what confuses me to no end. i don't see how using bootstrap would make the rom act funny. over at droidhive they say don't use safestrap because it causes data issues.

I'm not a programmer/dev so not sure. But what I can tell you is I've run builds from dhacker sent to me directly using Bootstrap on purpose to test and things do act up for whatever reason. And that is exactly why all these ROMs based on the leaks using dhackers stuff on github say to use SafeStrap in the OP of whichever ROM.

meh i prefer bootstrap so i can mod the stock rom. the razr is one hell of a learning curve for me coming from the rezound and gnexus.

I hear ya, I prefer Bootstrap over SafeStrap as well in all honesty. however not because of a stock build seeing as I REFUSE to run stock SW. Altho after a wk or 2 of using this stuff on Motos its really not to much more difficult messing with them compared to a Gnex or what not. I own a Gnex as well along with many other devices in the past and now its like falling off a log when messing with the Motos. I just miss my days of being able to get unlocked Motos.

I don't know why, but I cannot for the life of me keep a solid data connection on 6/10. Downloading newest build now to try out...will report back.

I have had troubles with all of the builds...both CM9 and AOKP. not sure why, but I get about 18 hours of data and then I lose it...often times it requires a re-flash as toggling data often times doesn't not resolve the issue.

Folks you need to keep in mind until an OFFICIAL OTA ICS build is pushed out to us we will ALWAYS have these data issues. There is not way at this point it can be rock solid 100% of the time. there is to many different version of leaks on the float & we have ppl on many different kernels as well as other stuff as some have went off path, others like myself have choosen to stay on path and so forth. We really need the actual build so EVERYONE is using the EXACT same thing not all this mix and matching stuff.

On that not speaking for myself in all these ROMs that you should ALWAYS fully wipe and start fresh on a new release from any of the devs. The wiping cache & Dalvik only does work but it is not consistant from what I'm seeing updating that way. I've had much much better luck just wiping out the device on each update and resetting it quick but ymmv as every device is different

Just a heads up, I dl'ed the 6/11 build this morning at about 9:30am and loaded it over 6/10 with a Cache and Davlik Wipe and completely lost data. Have you updated the 6/11 build since this morning? BTW, I'm on .79 ICS Leak with no data issues from any of the KOA builds until now... :(

EDIT: Re-dl'ed and flashed 6/11 build and data is working better

I Do that for every build crazy that way. Still no luck with the camera. Sometimes I get really OCD and wipe 3-4 times....

Just an update...I had to format system, also did a factory reset in SS to get my vibrate back. Also seems the Titanium Backup thing was my fault from the beginning, I apparently hit deny root from the beginning and it never fixed itself after deleting it from SU. Went back to 6/10 and all is well after starting over. Keep up the good works Hicks!

What do you need to know bud. FYI when I update your builds that is EXACTLY what I do on each and every update. IE I never just wipe cache & Dalvik and then install over the last build with your newest.

That said so far I've had no issues at all on the 6/11 build EXCEPT for the camera issue you know about it. Data has been great and running without a problem since about 8am CST this morning

Me too I always format and wipe. Besides the camera my 4g is rock solid on boot and no bugs besides camera. I'm on 203 leak.

Okay, just for shigs and gittles, I re-formatted, wipe, wipe, re-flashed and now I have data back on 6/9.

Still hoping someone has a link for 6/10? :)

I had to do all that when I went from the first build to 5/28a build, because of the phone.apk FC'ing... since then I have just wiped cahce/Dalvik and had no problems. Running 6/11 over .79 leak and just have the camera problem everyone else seems to have. DATA and WiFI solid, even the battery reporting seems to behave. I also did NOT update BusyBox( currently running 1.20.0) and all is well... Really digging this ROM!!
