Man, just finished setting up KOA AOKP again earlier today... Flashing this because of Linaro, now. :P

Well then you're going to be upset when you find out that I'm updating KOA AOKP as we speak and will have it up in about 30-45 minutes lol.

OK so it takes about 12 hrs to confirm account changes so I use this on safe strap when I go to bed change backup assist to remove by time I wake txs have stopped and I'm ready to run this from ALL day! The only from that gives me 12+ hours of use then so I can abuse the blurware in evening I toggle back I get 6500 s or high 6400 from kao snappy bb..only wish we could developea pseodo app to humor the backup assist so the changeling of features didn't have to happen with these romz. Great work Hicks! Thank you.

Hicks, are the gapps still integrated with the 6/10 build or do I need to re-flash them when I flash the ROM?

I just looked in the ROM's zip file and didnt see any of the google apps in it.... Looked for Gmail, Maps, and play store. Betting you need to flash Gapps to be safe.

Edit: Hmmm, MMS is not sending... Connected to WiFi, great signal but not sending... gonna disconnect WiFi and try it over 3G. ok seems to have worked over 3G.

Mine worked fine without reflashing gapps.

No, gmail and maps arent in there but the play store is. Its new name is "phonesky.apk".

Also he said he was looking into why maps and gmail weren't in there.

Just a heads up guys if you download the rom. Put all the Google apk's in the system/app folder. Then you wont have to flash gapps. Plus if you.dont want a apk like say appolo then just delete it then flash it.

Were you using Bluetooth for audio? What ICS leak are you on?

No just trying to listen to Google music or Pandora. On .79, haven't had an issue w cm9 or aokp but for some reason this build is being a bit weird

Gapps have never been intergrated with this ROM.

Have you tried a full data wipe to fix this issue? This is the first I'm hearing of it but I am trying to troubleshoot.

====================================================================================================

To Everyone:

Also everyone, let me add this since people keep asking about it:

If you're coming from any ROM other than KOA ROM (CM9) you need to wipe data/factory reset when installing.

If you're coming from an older build of KOA ROM (CM9), you only need to wipe cache and dalvik.

I won't leave you guys hanging, if you need to wipe data/factory reset before flashing I will make sure I tell you that in the post about the update. If I don't tell you to do that, then all you need to wipe is cache and dalvik. Really glad you guys are liking this ROM and I know it sucks that data isn't completely stable but thank you guys for sticking with me!

Thanks to everyone for the info on the gapps. I just wasn't sure since I haven't flashed them since I flashed the initial build of KOA and see them in the op for 6/10 build. BTW Hicks, my data has been pretty stable on the 6/5 build. The only time it gets kind of squirrelly is when I have a weak signal for a while, then it usually requires a re-boot to get it back. Great ROM though man. I'm loving it.

Hicks, is linaro already implemented in this build or is it just the base of it for future implementation?

What do you think is making the data unstable?
