Not complaining, just a heads up: I lose data about once a day, and only a reboot fixes it. I was originally clearing cache/dalvik when rebooting, but then got lazy and started just doing simple reboots and those work. Toggling airplane mode and the phone info app way doesn't work. Most recently I lost data after (or during) a 15 minute phone call. Was watching my phone, white bars (3-4), and the 4G icon would come and go, but never turned blue. And none of my data apps worked. Tried the old OG Droid method of just logging into Google Talk, still no dice. Love the ROM, very stable. Just thought I'd let you know. I'm on 6/1, but I'll probably flash the next update.

What does everyone have checked for data? Data roaming and national roaming? Should these be checked?

Thanks. Awesome rom. Now if the rom only had an option to do my laundry I'd be set :P

Alright, I know I've read something about this but I can't find it...my phone just randomly died and when I plug it into the charger it does nothing. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Sounds like your battery died. It will charge even though the screen is off. Leave it on the charger for at least an hour & then try to boot up into fastboot mode & select boot normally.

Ahhh...didn't know it would charge like that. Used to my D2...when it died and was plugged in it would show the battery charge level.

Excuse my noobness fellas!

Just a warning I've been flashing these builds religiously. If you only wipe dalvik and cache you are more then likely to have problems. I always format system and wipe all three just cause.

New build is stable as hell hicks keep up the good work.

Thank you good sir! Glad you're enjoying it :)

I'm going to continue to make these builds but I'm staying on .181 for now in anticipation for the coming weeks :)

Wow, updating daily and wiping everything? I don't know that I'm dedicated enough to restore everything each and every time I updated the ROM. Hope you have the unlimited data package still. :)

Let's say the official ICS comes ota..and I'm still on the leak/koa rom. Once I get news that its available, when I fastboot back to .181 (I'm on the .79 leak) should it come automatically?

Eventually it will. Or you can pull it thru system updates in the about phone menu.

Yes, I had went from the 5/31 built to the 6/1 wiping cache then dalvik, and had some issues for sure. (No data no matter what, WIFI even disconnected after connecting) so I had to just wipe everything and flash back the 5/31. Even then, my nandroid of 5/31 threw a md5 mismatch error so I had to reset everything, which isn't a huge deal. I waited a few days and my inner crackflasher was going nuts so I wanted to try again. I did a Titanium Backup of everything and proceeded with downloading the 6/5 build and wiping the cache then dalvik. Upon boot all my settings and apps were totally unchanged, and the only thing I had to do was change my boot animation back to red droid X. :P

So, I've installed your KOA Rom on my Maxx. I went from .179 to .209, and then installed. The install went great, and the ROM is VERY smooth....but. I no longer have data service at all. Now let me tell you....I live in a service challenged area, but even here at home, I almost always have data coverage of some kind.

I've removed the rom, wiped data/cache/reinstalled 3 times now. Always the same outcome. Installs perfectly (so it seems), silky smooth, everything seems great, but no data coverage.

Is it possible that the data coverage is just much weaker on this rom, and that my phone is just not picking it up?

Have you opened up the Phone Info App and set your network mode to CDMA/LTE/GSM AUTO? I have to do this almost every time I reboot and sometimes when I flash. For me it is automatically set to GSM Only and I have to change it back to CDMA/LTE/GSM auto for service and data.

Ok...I'm a noob....It is set to LTE/CDMA right now. What do I need to change it to? Options are:

LTE Only
LTE/CDMA/EvDo/GSM/WCDMA
LTE/CDMA
CDMA/EvDo auto
GSM only

You are missing a lot of options there man..my specific setup is LTE/GSM/CDMA auto (PRL). I am in Ohio in the US so idk if your location might make your options different..double check those options if you can.
