I was told that you have to rename the sound file "android_audio.mp3" and place it in /system/media folder. Haven't tried it yet because I haven't decided on a sound file.

Go into System Settings > Wifi (press on the word, not the toggle button)

Press the menu button on your phone and select "Advanced Settings"

Check you IP address and make sure it is xxx.xxx.x.x

And not xx.xxx.x.x.

For some reason it's deleting the "1" at the beginning of the IP address. Thanks to DDX for catching that :)

Gracias, senor! I will report back.

Edit: I tried the method you described, but in advanced wifi the IP address says unavailable and is grayed out.

Got it!

System Settings > Wifi (word not the button)

While trying to connect to a network, press and hold on the name of the connection and click on "Modify Network'

Check the box that says "Show advanced options"

For "IP Settings" change from DHCP to Static

Check the IP address there

No luck for me. It wont let me save changes once I switch to Static. Weird. Thanks for the effort though

You have to fill in every area, then it will let you save.

Wifi problems here, Doesn't want to connect to my router. It was working perfectly but it just randomly disconnected. Now I get "avoided poor internet connection". My internet is fine, tried a router reset. Same prob. Any suggestions?

It will work perfectly if you are on a leak.

Hey, I was wondering, will you be coming up with a updater app? Like on the MIUI roms?

Quick question, what is the difference between this KOA ROM and the other that has just been updated today? Im guessing one is CM9 based and the other AOKP? The title for the threads doesn't specify and maybe im glancing over the first post too fast... But great ROM so far, Wifi still holding strong after changing to static IP and now I cannot get ringtone or notification sounds to work? I have been running BeatsAudio V2 zip for about a day and I was still unable to hear sounds before I flashed that zip... Thanks for the help in advance! Will donate soon once I get paid! Lol

Edit: Whoops answered my own question - Says AOKP in title of other thread. Sorry for the n00bness. Haha
