Is it safe to assume that all of these builds (including Tim's v8) still have the latest ByteCode kernel?
Not included... But just look here for the latest...

Finally got my computer issues squared away and didn't see the new weekly build in the other thread so figured I'd share. It's in the OP. Enjoy!

The kernel is based off stock razr-q-com source not the vanquish code.

I was playing around with some init.d and build prop tweaks and figured I'd share the results. The base is beta 4 compiled today. I put in every build prop tweak I know of that I thought would have a positive impact along with a few init.d tweaks I've gathered over time.

Do you think that the battery life is better with beta 4?
Posted 03 September 2013 - 06:34 AM
Between 3 and 4, no. I've only been running the tweaks in my build since yesterday so too early to honestly say if there is a difference with that. I just drained completely and now recharging back to full so I'll have an accurate idea later on.

In call volume is no longer an issue. I almost blew an eardrum on the first call assuming it was still an issue....

Are you sure this isn't from some app you have installed? I've been using arrrghhh's kernel for a few weeks now (on BeanStalk) and I've never had this problem

Honestly, on these 4.3 based ROMs, I've found it best to stick with the included kernel. There's still a lot of fine tuning going on, and throwing in a new kernel just complicates things.
