Yeah that has to be your problem because your Android system shouldn't be draining that much battery mine is only like 10 to 12 percent

hmm perhaps a fresh install is in order then, as i am at 71% after nearly 4 hours and just over an hour on screen time..
thought id report back on the fresh install as I am currently at 71% again, This time at 9h12m and 1h40m onscreen vs my old 3h40m and 1h10m onscreen. something must have gotten messed up. Have nfc frozen and havent done a battery cal yet.

NFC is frozen or disabled. Background processes limited down to 3. After checking the internet with my phone the back feels like it is hot and the last thing needed is for a battery to blow up or go bad. 4.2.2 doesnt do it. Have the same apps installed as 4.3 but still the back get hot sitting for a while idle. Sent a message to dhacker29, he hasn't seen any reports of the battery heating up.

I've also had no problems with the phone heating up on 10.2 based ROMs. Did you run a clean install? Wiping/formatting system included?

My battery got hot earlier. Changed a few settings. It was hot because the system was using 63% of the battery instead of 20-30% like in 4.2.I've also had no problems with the phone heating up on 10.2 based ROMs. Did you run a clean install? Wiping/formatting system included?

It only dropped 2% but it made a big difference in my battery life. Go to memory management, and I maxed it all out. ZRam, kernel merging and asset purge. It increases memory so it allows for better allocation. Wonder if fixing permissions would make a difference? Probably not, but its a thought. What settings can u change to change the system from running so much

Yes did a clean install. Wiped cache, formatting system all that is required to install a rom but still the issue exist. Not sure why it is happening, I have minimal process in the background running and keep the memory usage around 400 megs. I use the same settings in 4.2.2 and it doesn't heat up like it does in 4.3. I also use go launcher and apps that come with it, battery monitor, clean master.

Turn off auto sync turn off GPS. On down to 57%. So I've saved 5% which is about? 4 hrs. So I should now average 24 hours on full charge. It only dropped 2% but it made a big difference in my battery life. Go to memory management, and I maxed it all out. If you are going to turn off auto sync than you might as well just use the snapdragon battery guru app.
