Well I dirty flashed as well and have been since 4.3 I did a clean flash prob 5 or 6 updates ago

sounds the same as me. i know i was messing around with system tweaks and settings for sound around the low call volume issue, so perhaps there are lingering changes that arent playing nice with the battery life. Cant hurt to start fresh. Just a bummer having to set it up again just as i got everything just the way I want it. Huge thanks to Tim for making this my DD and helping me finally settle down on a single rom.

That's the truth I was tired of wiping flashing blah blah..... It's nice to have a ROM that is so awesome and runs fast and smooth..... I have no need to want to change ROMs .... U will have to let us know if u have any change in battery once u start fresh

ya ill report back in a couple days once it has had time to settle. Does battery cal actually work or is it just sort of a feel good thing to do? ive read articles debunking it as well as those written by people who swear by it..to be honest ive never really noticed much of a difference. might be slightly off topic, but one odd thing that has happened even on stock was that battery life will be fine until about 30 percent, and then it dies rapidly until 1 percent where it hangs on for quite a while. very odd and it happens no matter what rom and even after battery cal. maybe someone here has some input on that matter.

I am running what I believe to be the newest version of this ROM. But I sm getting a goo manager update notification that there is an update available for my rom . when I click on download now, the version says cm 10.1.3-RC1. What is this?

I usually run a battery cal when I settle down on a DD. The way I do it is run the battery down until it shuts off. Plug it in for 3 hours while off. Turn it on, wipe batt stats, then use as normal. If you ever had the problem where it just hangs at 1% for a few hours, this fixes it. Just don't go around flashing right after you do this. Wait a day or two.

I have had the same thing happen it's weird that it's picking up an update for a cm 4.2.2 ROM but goo manager has never been reliable in my option

The rear mic on the camcorder is picking up sound better than the 4.2 based roms were, but it's still not as good as stock.

Anyone having problems with the battery heating up. when sitting idle it heats up. does this have to do with the processor? I have tried the cm10.2 nightlies  and beanstalk and still the battery heats up. anyone else having this issue?

I do. Battery died in less then 6 hours.
