Hello everyone. I am of course new here. I found this site because I was looking for information about a new phone that Verizon sent me. It is the Razr Maxx HD. They sent it to me to replace a Galaxy Nexus that went bad.

I am not a phone geek and am quite lost with this new phone. I have a few questions.

1. Can anyone tell me how to determine what the model is for my phone? I was on ebay looking for a holster and the one I found said their is a size difference between the razr maxx HD and the razr maxx HD XT926 and the razr maxx XT926M. I do not want to order a holster if the case will not fit correctly.

2. The little bit I do know about the smart phones, They have all kinds of apps and such. I see people talking about things on here and I really have no clue what you are talking about. Is there something special I am able to do with my phone to make it better with other software loading? Better signals possibly?

I am sorry to sound like I am stupid, but to be truthful...  I am stupid right now to this phone!  LOL!!!

Anyone willing to help me along I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

IndianaJones

There are a LARGE number of things you can do to customize the phone to your liking, all of it is advanced to a certain degree, but were here to help you learn what we know.

As for finding what model it is you should go into settings- about phone- and it should show the model number. Also it should be in the box the phone came in.
