But the nexus was indeed on 4.0.4. Same kernal info and everything. Sorry didn't think to just take a picture of the phones about screen.

I just left the verizon store. Got the ob defender for my Maxx. I went through all the 4g phones. Rezound was on 2.3.4.... RAZR 2.3.5 6.11.xx another RAZR was on 2.3.6 maxx was on .181. I also did the check for updates on all of them.
But the nexus was indeed on 4.0.4. Same kernal info and everything. Sorry didn't think to just take a picture of the phones about screen.

I also saw a Raz on some weird build like 6.11.199 or something like that, but it was a GB build so who really cares?

Yeah at Best Buy and corporate VZW stores sometimes the phones have weird firmwares for display purposes. Dunno why, maybe they come with extra apps or reduced functionality if someone steals them? lol

Probably debloated and streamlined so the demo model is more responsive lol somebody should compare the demo to an actual ota model and see if there's more apps and or features... it'd be an interesting find... I purposely power down any demo I come across and boot into ap fastboot just to see if it says bootloader is unlocked(or a different status code).... haven't found one yet, but if I do you can bet that I will raise holy hell in that store and demand they make my RAZR share that same attribute lmao... I know it'd never happen but hey it'd be cool to find an unlocked RAZR.
