Safestrap is a Custom Recovery by TWRP. I would go with the suggested CWM. After my ordeal after using Safestrap i wouldn't try it.

CWM is stable and very easy to use I know it's not touch screen like TWRP is but TWRP is unstable on the Atrix HD...

Safestrap isn't an actual recovery replacement.  It's designed for use with a locked bootloader, and it still keeps your stock recovery intact.

Holy misinformation, Batman.

To the OP, mattlgroff constantly builds and keeps up-to-date all of the popular recoveries.

Its not that we can't have TWRP, its that it doesn't work right for us.  The touch points are off making it unusable.  We do have CWM Touch --

I wouldn't call those up to date :p.  The CWM there is out dated now that we have CWM Touch (linked above) and the TWRP there has offset touch points (kernel/firmware issue).  For unlocked Atrix HDs, our only working options are Mattlgroff's CWM's and the new CWM Touch -- everything else either doesn't work or is for unlocked devices (SafeStrap)

What kind of issue are you having?  I always fastboot recoveries, I've never used a recovery manager to do it.
