New version of Safestrap in the OP.

VERY NEW VERSION OF SAFESTRAP WITH A LOT OF NEW CODE -- IT COULD CONTAIN BUGS WHICH WOULD NEED A FASTBOOT PROCESS TO RECOVER FROM. BE WARNED.

** INSERT STANDARD DISCLAIMER: I'm not responsible for any damage you do to your phone using my tools. Always have a fastboot available for disaster recovery. **

** I have more features planned, but I really wanted to get this updated release out. **

SAFESTRAP 3.50 for Spyder based on TWRP 2.6.1.0

CHANGES:

• [08/30] (3.50) If running a new CM10.1/CM10.2 ROM (08/30 or later) you *should* be able to install Safestrap and update the recovery w/o having to go back to stock. If Safestrap shows "recovery not installed" while you're on a ROM-slot, then that ROM hasn't been updated and it won't work. Swap back to stock ROM and update Safestrap from there.
• [08/30] (3.50) Worked on stock ROM flashing and *should* work with CM10.1/CM10.2 builds on or after 08/30 *PROBABLY WILL NOT WORK WITH OLDER ROMs.*
• [08/30] (3.50) Battery meter is back
• [08/30] (3.50) Updated TWRP theme
• [08/30] (3.50) Added partition sizes to ROM-slot screen when it's ACTIVE
• [08/30] (3.50) Added "Check FS" function to ROM-slot screen when it's ACTIVE
• [08/30] (3.50) Complete re-write against TWRP 2.6 base (up from version 2.2.2.1):

Anyone successfully installed cm10.2 to stock yet? I tried and it just sat at the cyanogenmod animation. I waited over a half hour hoping it was just being a bit slow.

What I did...if I'm understanding the question..
* D-loaded the New 3.50 SS
* Didn't show my Restored backups...was a little nervous
* Click on the Stock Slot
* Than after it opened I rebooted
* Got Stock going in than backed up
* Same with Slot 1...got CM going...Yes 10.2 version
* Slot 2...couldn't Restore ROMs FJ or BW...might have to do with SS... it specifically states SS 3.11

From what I understand I should be able to flash CM 10.2 over my stock slot and leave the stock ROM a distant memory.  I tried doing just that but when I reboot, its stops at the fancy CM10.2 animation and sits there.  I was just wondering if anyone else had tried it yet and been successful.  I've had not other issues with the new safestrap.  My Slot 1 CM10.2 is working just fine and I backed it up and restored it (after I accidently wiped it instead of Stock) just fine.  My stock slot just does not want to play.  I will probably have to fastboot to get it working again.

Everything is "Good Under The Hood" here as well... Do you know if the ROMs requiring us to use SS 3.11, Do the Dev's have to modify/Update SS to Flash their ROMs? Can't seem to flash ROMs on 3.11... It's Bubba "Stubborn In Your Bones"

Okay my turn to reach out with the New Verision of Safestrap...

 

• Installed the New Verision
• Currently on CM 10.2
• Worked flashing 8/30 & 9/1
• Cant move on from bulid 9/1 since 3.50 SS
• Now, it works No More...
• Created New Slots...
• Black Screen comes on a Hashcode Mention...
• Come back on
• I'll do All my Wipes
• Download the New Updates...New Version...Not Stable
• Flashed, starts the process...boots to the Red Icon "M"
• However, Instead of Updating the New Update
• It kicks be back to my Safestrap Screen
• Noting the Install Failed...
• I can use CM in Slot one
• And I can get back to Stock...
• Done everything known to Man...How about a couple of New Ideas

Both are working Awesome just cant update anymore since I flashed 3.50

 

What have I done or did I miss something...seems pretty straight up to me in processing a New Version...

First thing I did after I downloaded 3.50 is to update the Binary...Really Weird...Just stop working...Is their any Settings that are Not Checked on this Verision that I could have missed or Not Check to process Updates?

Well, i know hashcode is still ironing out wrinkles, personally i used 3.50 for maybe half a day and switched back.. Wish I could be more help...

Father Hillbilly sent me a Link to get back to 3.11...So I will try this later this week...Personally, Hashcode was correct and he did mention its still work in process...This ROM is the Ballzzz...

 

I think the Speed bump is within the Slots not Clearing Data or Conflicts...but some of us it works...
