Yeah, I've noticed it missing too. Strictly a guess here but my thoughts are that Hashcode probably got a lot of inquiries as to why it read different in safestrap then it did while booted to a rom. There's a few of those posts in this thread already from what I remember. This way he doesn't have to deal with the question over and over. All this is a guess, mind you. That's the only reason I can think of. If it's the reason why, can't say I blame him. I'm guessing it probably still charges in recovery although I haven't tried it to find out. Easy enough for you to do though. Check your battery level, boot to safestrap and let it sit there plugged in for a half hour and see if the battery is charged more when you boot back to your rom. :)

OK. I didn't realize so many people had said something about the different battery level readings.
It was close enough for me though.
Its good practice to make sure I have a good charge before flashing anyways.
Thanks for your input.

SS 3.11 installed fine but it won't run. I'm running the JB Leak. Anyone know why this might be happening? I downloaded It multiple times from the link in the Ok and checked the md5 sum and eeverything was correct. I'm definitely rooted with the latest binaries.

I acidentially tried to flash the custom ROM on the Stock slot and now my Stock slot is empty saying "no Os Installed".

I can still run on Slot 1. But can I fix the problem of the Stock slot?

Thanks for your help!

Did you make a backup of Stock?

Is your stock ICS or JB?

Not assure if anybody else noticed this or not but I no longer see my battery percentage while in recovery.
Is charging while in recovery still supported?

thanks for that suggestion. call me lazy but i figured asking would be simpler but after your comment i no longer felt lazy lol i was at 80% than booted to recovery and plugged in the charger for about 30-45 minutes and disconnected the charger and booted up to 90% battery. i have the maxx. which is why it charges so slow...i think

Aparently i wasnt fully rooted even though TB and Root Explorer said i was and both functioned properly. I used the Restore Root zip and that succeeded and afterwards was able to get SS working properly. All Good here.

Backup any ROMs you installed in the slots, do a dump of your sdcard (into folder on sd-ext for example), format sdcard using system-storage-format into SD card, recreate slots again first, then put back stuff on sdcard that doesn't auto-install. Restore ROMs to slots. I forget anything?

the problem is, is that the one slot that i have with a custom ROM is over 5 gigs of memory and it needs to be in the internal sd card to work.. why is it 5 gigs??

Sounds like you made a 3gig slot. Back it up on ex-SD, dump all else to ex-SD, 'cept for safe strap info. Format intSD, recreate slots in safestrap from stock side (make 3Gig slot for your custom Rom), restore ROMs, restore non-auto populating files. Fyi, I'm just an experienced noob, no crackflasher.

I've been reading but not finding the exact help I need so here goes. I have been running Safestrap 3.11 on Jelly Bean Leak since 3.11 came out. I have 2 ROM slots I'm using and have not had an issue at all from any of this and have been flashing ROMS many times. I have settled down and I am running JELLYWIZZ in slot1 as my daily ROM. Everything has been fine until today. Went to go show a picture to someone and phone says SDCARD is empty.......SDCARD-EXT showed all files. Other APPS acting funny too so I rebooted. Everything looked good for a bit then it started again. I Rebooted and was going into Safestrap to wipe Cache and Dalvic on SLOT1 just to clean up but I can not boot into Safestrap. It prompts with Safestrap in SAFEMODE (still running on SLOT1) but when I choose Recovery to go wipe cache......Safestrap reboots and prompts and main Safestrap menu again. I can not get into Recovery (it just reboots). If I let safestrap sit at first menu for 10seconds it does as it should and boots into current active ROM. I have uninstalled Safestrap Recovery and reinstalled then rebooted. Same thing. I have a good backup (TWRP) of factory ROM and SLOT 1 & 2. Any way to get back in to Recovery, delete ROM1 & 2 and I will restore if needed or.........If I uninstall Recovery from Safestrap....Reboot......will it just load Stock Rom again? I have no problem with that. Sorry So long just wanted to let you know what I have done so far before I go over the cliff so to speak. Thanks for any help.....

I'm running in slot 1 custom ROM. Can not boot onto Safestrap. Anybody know of a way to generate Safestrap log if I can not get into recovery.... in case Hashcode wants the log to help. See my previous post about current issue.

Just asking the question..

I use 1 GB for all Slots using any Jelly Bean ROM that is not specific to a Phone Example; (Bonic)...No Issues...Maybe its time to do a Dusting n Cleaning of Apps n Backups to get Performance back to the Bench-Line
