This is very exciting, just took be clear; those of us on new jb update who are rooted, can use this safestrap to flash any custom ROM ics ,cm10, aokp etc ?!

I'm on the new JB rooted, no custom recovery installed, just want to make sure this new SS is functional for those of us on update , also , are ICS ok to be flashed or just JB

I tried restoring a stock backup to rom slot 1 and it boot looped. Returned to stock slot and all is well again. Any thoughts?

Actually, let me run through some more tests on that motoblur ROM. Or maybe hold off doing anything crazy with it.

I may have a system mount bug that I didnt notice.

Was able to Flash 2 ROM slots...ROM slots 3 & 4 will not allow b-cuz it takes 1928 to process but I have 1492 free...short 467 MB to create each slot...where do I get the extra MBs...

Total in my phone I have 7 GB left...

UPDATE: Mounts in the MotoBlur ROM look GOOD. I ran some more tests and everything seems to be running correctly. I'll post a separate thread under ROMs for the MotoBlur 9.8.20 ROM.

This update *does not* include (to be in version 3.1 when it's ready):
- Flashing to stock using custom updater-binaries (for things like radio etc)
- ^^ Also includes handling for custom ROMs on the stock rom-slot
- Changes to how rom-slots are booted which will allow for installing 4.2 ROMs on any slot (right now limited to #1 only)

You may need to move some files located on the internal emmc space (sdcard) over to the external SD card to make more room for ROM slots.

i just tried to install it on slot 1 and when i went to reboot it said no OS installed?
