Ok, I guess I screwed up and missed that part as in it went totally over my head. I thought it was refering to another function within safestrap itself. How do you suggest I fix the issue since I mistakenly ran the app in a Slot Rom? Everything seems ok though so far and the recovery lists as 3.05

I did this with updating to 2.11... installing it on the safe side. It read 2.11 until i went back to stock side. Then it read it was the older version even though the splash screen was the newer one.

Well that refreshing to find out that I'm a dumbass and also don't follow the tweets to clear up the instructions more precisely. Now my question. What have I ____ed up by loading this within a slot ROM since I'm too stupid to follow directions and didn't do it in stock?

Hit the menu button within the first few seconds to enter recovery. Create a rom slot and install a rom there. Make that your active slot and reboot. When you reboot the splash scree will say "enabled"

Well, either after me not following the directions OR the upgrade to 3.05. I'm now getting the "Low on volume space" message again in my slot 1 ROM Simplex.

Things I've done:

Verified original edits to the init.mapphone_cdma.rc file where still in place.

Re-did the edits to that other file in system/ect per the earlier post.

Booted to STOCK and installed Safestrap 3.05 there like I was supposed to in the beginning.

Back to Simplex/Slot 1 and un-installed the Safestrap 3.05 I had mistakenly done through there.

Verified I still have Safestrap Recovery via reboots which I do.

So still lost once again on how to resolve the "Low on volume space" issues...

Any clues?

Looks like you have plenty of space on all mount points. I'm a little confused as to why sdcard-ext is showing up twice, though. Only shows up once on my phone, but I have not swapped internal/external.

You probably have a double hijack in place and will need to fastboot JUST the stock system partition to reset everything back. Then re-root and install Safestrap. Should be good to go and you also shouldn't need to re-setup the entire phone.

Not to sound stupid but how do I assure I am just fastboot - flashing the stock partition? Is that something I can do running just DrdRzrUtility? Thanks.

dude all u had to do was go back to the stock rom and install the update there in the beginning.
at this point you can keep experimenting until you find your fix or just fxz back to stock and start over.
The DroidRazrUtility is EVERYTHING you need to get started hacking your device. Always read the O.p

That being said great work Hashcode, haven't tested the USB fix yet. Have to scan my micro sd for errors first and apparently that takes a LONG time right now

I don't think there is an option in DRU to "just" flash /system, but you can do it manually pretty easily. Follow all of the steps to prepare just like you were going to run the utility, SWAP BACK TO YOUR STOCK ROM first, make sure you have plenty of charge in the battery, put the phone in AP Fastboot mode, connect your USB cable and then instead of running the utility directly, open up a command prompt in the DRU folder to where the "DroidRAZRUtility.bat", "adb.exe", "moto-fastboot.exe", etc. files are. (shift+right-click on the mouse in the proper DRU folder should give you this option) then run the following command:

moto-fastboot flash system system.img

That will overwrite your current system with the one from whatever version of DRU you have (I think 1.82 is the most current).

So I just updated from the stock side and booted up into the new interface, made the rom slot. Is there anyway to get back my safe side rom? I assume that the backup from the old is not compatible with the new.

Ah bummer, was hoping I wouldn't have to resetup some stuff. Oh well, not to big a deal, love the touch interface for recovery.

Yes I was wanting the same thing but had to reflash my rom. I agree the new ss is amazing! I really appreciate all the hard work the developers put into this stuff!

I have an OG RAZR & if you set up all 4 slots phone gives a warning that memory it's getting low. It doesn't look like there is enough internal storage to set 4 slots. I have moved everything I can to external storage. Am I missing something?

What size are you setting each slot? Recommended is 1 GB unless you got a crapload of apps.

That is the size I set it for. I also couldn't get Droid HD to load properly. Booted 3 times and on the 3rd try it boot looped.

Where is it giving you the low memory error? In your Stock ROM or one of the ROM slots? The user accesible area of the EMMC is around 8 gigs, so if you've created four, 1 gig slots you have used half of it, if you have other files (photos, backups, songs, videos. etc.) on internal memory, it may be getting too full.

Thank you sir. Mission accomplished. I believe I am back to normalcy now. ;)
