new to this, ive only been running eclipse exclusively but lookn at more options for roms now.
are the features the same for the aokp m6 and the cm9 version? im inclined to try the cm9 version only because it was the most recent of the builds to be updated. thoughts?

they both look the same in every way, but each build has its own set of options for customization. i would recommend trying both and see which you prefer.

Framework is done. SystemUI is halfway there. Shouldn't take much longer for red widow to be on the aokp rom.

Question, since CPU sleep app is included in this ROM....is it advisable to NOT mess govenor settings? Or does it really matter either way?

Just got done reading the thread explaining govenors...finally an explanation!

that happens when u flash them both at the same time. OP says flash darkgtalk after first boot!

As I recall, that's exactly what I did.
Flashed AOKP, boot and found out that no gtalk included.
Reboot and flash darkgtalk, I can see it in /system/app but nothing in the drawer.

Ended up restoring gtalk from TiBu, working, but not dark though.

well i know for 100% that gtalk is included, and the only way for it to not be present is when u flash the blacked out gtalk together with the rom. thats why it is a separate file. it needs to be flashed separately to work. if u restore gtalk, now reboot and flash darkgtalk. should be blacked out then.

I had a similar a few releases back...I flashed the rom, booted up, did my setups, rebooted, flashed the dark gtalk and lost gtalk altogether...so I ended up wiping system, wiping cache, and dalvik and then reflashing the rom...and booting and then rebooting and flashing dark gtalk....and all was good... just a thought

Here's the jist of why I ask about speed tweaks. Just moved in and awaiting High-Speed. So for now tethering even to post this. Need more speed however, to download and stay updated on my weekly shows, Breaking Bad, True Blood, Falling Skies...etc. Just to name a few.

So if I only add the 3g stuff, that should be good? No need for the Net stuff if only using 3g to tether?
