Not sure if this is specific to AOKP, but it seems the built in camera takes alot of screen area for the button panel on the right.

Is there a way to configure it to taking it much less space, or is there a replacement app that I can install? I guess I'm used to the blur camera and I'm aware that you can't isntall that on these roms.

Also when I get a call I dont seem to be using the Big Caller ID thing. I get the sceen where the slider at the bottom is half cut off. I have tried to turn Big Caller ID on and off and tried new themes and it still does not want to be used.

and I've said it in the past, if you have a pre-installed app that doesn't want to work. delete it from system/app using a file manager and re-download and install from play.

I should of said that I tried that. I used ES to remove the apk for Big Caller ID and rebooted, then re-installed from the market and it still never came up.

Yea not crazy about the aosp camera, so will check out the market for a replacement. Thanks for your help.

I use Camera 360. it's REALLY powerful, updated frequently and has GREAT shutter speed/save speed. The only downside is that there's no Video recorder built in, so you have to swap back to your built in one. It's not only that the built in camera has that side bar, but also that it's zoomed in farther and I always feel like I'm too close to the subject.

nah this is Aokp, the other is based off the stock 211 ics.

both roms can be ran from the 214 kernel.

Flashed this after being on BW 211 for the past two weeks, and it's great so far. My only gripe is that the start up tweaks under rom control don't stay activated when I back out of that sub menu, just like the milestone 5 build. I know it's not a problem with BW.

Other than that everything has been solid. I missed the customization options that AOKP offered

Yea, i deleted the same app (Big Caller ID) and then downloaded and reinstalled it, but it still isnt working.I think the next thing Im gonna try is deleting the apk from your zip file so it never gets installed and then try downloading it and see if that works.

Another question I have is I have 2 Gallery apps... in system/app one is Gallery2.apk and the other is galleryGoogle.apk... Not sure what the difference is.

But I love this ROM. I haven't had any of the data issues I have had on other ROM's and it is nicely polished and smooth as hell.

Awesome ROM. I'm having no data issues at all, wifi works, and I love all the AOKP tweaks I can do to customize my phone. At this point, any OTA based ROM just drives me nuts because it doesn't have the all powerful "ROM Control" sub-menu.

Again, awesome job with this build/ROM!

Nope. I have one installed, but it wasnt activated. tried rebooting and it still wouldnt work.

Hmm....have you tried clearing data for the camera?

Hey guys..I'm new obviously but have been crack flashing for a month and a half now but I have found some issues with this rom...in rom controls it force closes when I try to go into performance and also is anyone else notice the screen shrinking upon rotation? I've read in other rom forums that others are having issues with the rotation..but mainly what's up with the performance fc? Any ideas would be fantastic!

KNOWN ISSUES/ WHAT DOESN'T WORK:

Answer screen looks chopped when receiving call(added BIG! caller ID until fixed)
Screenshots doesn't capture full screen (simply open and edit; Crop)
FC in RC > Performance (use rom toolbox to change governors)
May have a few other bugs. ..

Roms that are AOSP are currently missing webtop and HDMI, with the rom not having HDMI support the screen rotation will "shrink" and resize during rotation. Moto just released their source, and if and when i find time i will take the necessary lib files needed and get it working. until then, this and every other rom will have the same problem. And with razr having a locked bootloader, Performance found in Rom Control will FC, if you want to change the governor and io scheduler, use Rom Toolbox.
