i now see what your talking about, and that option for a quick text is apart of the apk. its just somwhere in the port the call screen gets chopped (like it doesnt fit our screen).... you can still see half a slider when not using BIG! caller ID, you should be able to slide it up or down for quick texts.......... everything that the Galaxy uses is from Aosp. which are the same files that are used in this ROM. i still have some bugs to workout.

heh, I'm not having so much luck getting a solid build going for 211, might just have to revert to doing a BW theme for a 211 rom. all-in-all i wouldn't be running it if i did complete one, as i love the functionality of AOKP and the battery life that's been coming along with it!

Yeah man, this is my favorite rom, and the few issues are really super minor, so if you prefer to stick to the AOKP build, you got my vote, lol. I'd rather have what you're doing now than to lose the AOKP functionality

I hear the ota 211 is now out for the razr. Can we pull files from that in order to fix the caller id screen ( I currently am not using the work around) I am thinking that this might resolve the little visual effects that are not spaced well on our screens.

I am willing to help test or copy files if you need.

P.S. Thanks for a sweet rom! no bloat at all.. great bat life.. great visuals.. only had the data/radio issue first day.

your more than welcome to pull the phone/contacts.apk from my bw 211 build and try.... make sure you set the permissions though!

download rom toolbox and mess with the governor and IO scheduler. hotplug and noop seem to be a pretty good combo..

OP has been updated with Milestone 6 build. Running a previous version or not, you are required to WIPE everything i list in the OP, if you dont wipe data and have problems.. boo hoo

Not sure if this is specific to AOKP, but it seems the built in camera takes alot of screen area for the button panel on the right.

Is there a way to configure it to taking it much less space, or is there a replacement app that I can install? I guess I'm used to the blur camera and I'm aware that you can't isntall that on these roms.

Also when I get a call I dont seem to be using the Big Caller ID thing. I get the sceen where the slider at the bottom is half cut off. I have tried to turn Big Caller ID on and off and tried new themes and it still does not want to be used.
