One question, I deleted ES file explorer from system/app since I use Root Explorer and then re-booted. It persists in the app drawer. Do I need to boot into safestrap and clear cache?

So far so good. I went from .79 to .211 this morning, and just loaded this up an hour ago. I thought my crackflashing days were over since I left the Gnex. Oops.

shouldnt need to, after you deleted the apk from System/apps and rebooted it should have disappeared. .. but clearing the cache should do it, weird tho~

If I'm on the older version (the aokp 38 build) am I able to upgrade to this build without having to wipe all my data? Sorry kinda new to all of this, I'm on the .211 leak btw if that's helpful.

No dice on clearing the cache. I have no idea where it is hiding. I just disabled it. Also having issues getting 4g back without a re-boot after installing this. Anyone else?
silly question but, you did enable the system to R/W and you deleted the ESfile.apk found in the system/app dir?
and 4G will work on boot, but i did notice myself after flashing this over b38 without wiping data/factory resetting, i had to toggle data after the first reboot. open system settings, click on the word More... at top, then mobile networks, network mode, and make sure its set to LTE / CDMA...... then open app drawer, phone info, now look toward the bottom there where you do the toggle of Set preferred network type: right above that it shows PPP sent and PPP received. we want these both to show -1.... so you may need to select a few random choices in the list, like GSM only, then LTE only, CDMA only........ but once those show -1, then you will want to select LTE/GSM/CDMA auto (PRL) and you will have data, and on the next reboot you should have data connect as well......

I had data on boot, but once I lost 4g it was gone until a re-boot. Same with 3g. They will show up, but they are greyed out.

if you had lost data, do what i just stated to get it back without having to reboot but i do suppose a reboot to some may be easier
edit*, shouldnt drop much if any though, this build is rock solid and dark as $!#7!

#1- When in a call, I've found there are no toggles (or access to a menu) to toggle off/on Bluetooth output. I've noticed that after I have it connected in the car, the dialer doesn't automatically revert to headset volume, but instead continues to direct audio/mic to the bluetooth connection (though the connection has been disconnected.) The only way to resolve was to disable bluetooth to get the audio/mic diverting back to the headset.
#2- I noticed you set it to "BIG! caller ID" but am confused as to why. There are a lot of other lock screen dialers/override call receivers that put the buttons in the correct place, and accessible. Could it have been that you wanted to maintain the theme's view?
#3- Hulu getting a download error (both on Google Play's version and the version from mod2com) Is there possibly a fix coming out?
#4- The Chome Beta that came with the ROM always crashes, is there a fix for that?
#5- Using Camera360 because the onboard ICS camera blows.
#6- Google Drive displays a FC on boot.
#7- Playing around with Wireless Tether, using WiFi Tether, but no dice yet. Will try some other utilities.
Thanks again for all of your hard work! Also, will you be supplementing this rom with the new OTA released by chance?
Sincerely,
Cmarison

#1, while in a call, you can drop down the notification menu to have access to the phone... as for car dock and bluetooth i do not know as i do not use it, and there is bluetooth issues on all leaked roms if i remember.....
#2, the call screen is chopped when receiving a call (listed in the OP) reason i added big caller id which then has an ICS theme which yes, does follow the look and feel of the ROM.
#3, not sure about hulu, netflix works so i dont know why it shouldnt?
#4, Chrome beta was removed in build 39.. you need to install it manually, (build 38 users need to del it from system/apps using a file manager, reboot for the effects to take place), then you can download from PLAY.,
#5, Camera ICS + is default camera, because yes the default sucks and has zero options...
#6, Google drive im sure needs webtop or something of some sort to run, again not sure, but i dont use it........
#7, wireless tether (included in the ROM, and listed in the OP) for it to work you need to go into settings, and change the device profile to Generic ICS.... then it will work.
and yes the .211 OTA is compatible with the ROM

nice list..

Yep, I know about the notification bar, I've been using Android since day 1. No problem about the Bluetooth, I have a work-around by disabling Bluetooth while not in the car. This way the audio pushes out through the ear speaker instead of the disconnected Bluetooth connection.
#2, the call screen is chopped when receiving a call (listed in the OP) reason i added big caller id which then has an ICS theme which yes, does follow the look and feel of the ROM.
You might want to check out something like Ultimate Call Screen HD, which gets the buttons on the screen for answer/decline. There are a ton out there, at least it would work properly, instead of just "look" like it matches. But to each his own this is easily changeable.
#3, not sure about hulu, netflix works so i dont know why it shouldnt?
I actually had to uninstall the Play downloaded hulu version and reinstall a Mod2com version of Hulu installer to get it to work (after a reboot).
#4, Chrome beta was removed in build 39.. you need to install it manually, (build 38 users need to del it from system/apps using a file manager, reboot for the effects to take place), then you can download from PLAY.,
I only mentioned this since it was pre-installed in a broken fashion. Consequently, I wasn't able to uninstall through the normal method. Thanks for the recommendation of deleting it through file manager though!
#7, wireless tether (included in the ROM, and listed in the OP) for it to work you need to go into settings, and change the device profile to Generic ICS.... then it will work.
Cool, I was actually 3 minutes away from trying that anyway.
and yes of course whenever the OTA releases the ROM will be updated for it.
You rock!!!!

It'd sure be nice to find a tethering program that allows full speeds through wireless tether. May need to try PDA Net and usb tether it instead.
