ok so i thought this should be pretty basic to flash this.... i mounted system, then wiped, and then mounted again, then flashed and I got stuck in a boot loop. What am i missing?
Do not mount system. Try flashing again without mounting the system and use standard gapps and u should be fine.

Ok so I tried to do it that was as well and nothing.... just put me into a boot loop again.... I can figure out what is going on here. Quick question I noticed in the title of this rom it says port does that have anything to do with the rom and how it behaves or how my phone needs to be set up to run it? I have flashed flying jelly and touchwiz a couple of times and they load up just fine. (just to give you an idea of what has worked for me in the past.)

I can figure out what is going on here. Port just means I made a rom work on a device it was not currently working on.

You say change my gapps.... am I supposed to flash gapps before the rom? I know I am being a pain but I'm still somewhat new to all of this. Would someone be willing to give me a by the numbers install instruction? I think it would also help other newbies when flashing this ROM.

I have also seen a lot of talk in some of the ported ROM threads about kernels... I am running the 3.0.31-ge491d6d kernel is this OK or should I change it?

Hey guys, as of recently it has been tough to keep up with posting "OP Updated" whenever I update a ROM since I have quite a few ROMs I'm supporting on 3 different forums. UPD - AOSP keybord FC ((
PIE-control don`t work - only "home" & "recent apps" buttons works
But - veeeryy fast boot & great smoothness!

Hey Tim I been on the 9/20 build for a day i didn't have any errors on first boot. For some reason after I flashed the 9/19 of arrrghhh kernel the built in su app didn't work so I had too flash the newest supersu.zip and nofrillz to set the gov. The pie controls are good but I can't set any long press options, I dont even see any options for it(I would use pie if I can kill app on long press back). Good work man keep it up.

Whoops sorry I do see the kill task option on pie it was checked but didn't show up I had too uncheck and recheck it.. Pie is all good now
